  1. I was saying the exact same thing last night. I don't get why it's amusing?
  2. Those are lovely shots. Really like the reflection
  3. I haven't lifted one out but weedy ol' me and my weedy ol' dad have moved one from the driveway to the shed out back by strapping it up and using some scaffold tube to lift against. Getting enough height to actually lift the engine out is the only real issue I can see if you have burley mates to help. You could use a longer scaffold tube and get a few lifting it out. I've lifted blocks and gearboxes (separately) in and out before but I have a removable front. What I'm saying is, I'm not that strong and I can lift a block on its probably doable with a few mates.
  4. It's literally a load of bullshit. I don't really get why diesels are more to insure than petrols and I don't really get the a higher annual milage would decrease premiums (I'm not saying they do or they don't, I just don't get why) Diesels tend to be bought by people who do enough miles to warrant them and are sensible enough to buy them not boy racers who want to rag them cos they are well fastz. With milage, surely doing less miles means you're not technically on the road as much so you are less of a risk? I do see where the higher milage and experience comes from though. It's annoying because I want to buy a diesel and do JUST enough miles to warrant the cost of higher fuel but not really the higher cost of the car and insurance.
  5. For the money and the fact that your old ones were scabby, you done good. What about tires? You said the old ones were dangerous?

  11. He said he's seen what you want to do to Hondas not what you've done to Honda's. I'm guessing thats based on those "vtec just kicked in yo" videos you posted. *For the record, I'm no vtec hater, I actually love them but the best thing to do to them isn't stick a silly slash cut jap can on it *
  12. I don't want to sound too big headed either but I've done about 300 miles in this weather and haven't got stuck yet. I have had a little prat with the handbrake about when its dead and open though. The worst down here was on Friday and I made it to work and back fine.
  13. Actually, I concur. And Anzo, Where the Hell have they got to?
