  1. Believe. This bike is too nice! Feels quite interesting, the BB's pretty high (+70) so it sits on the back wheel in a pretty mod-like way, but it rolls like a stock when you're standing on it. It's odd, but nice - I really want to ride one of them properly to see what they're like. Now they're UCI comp legal, and a few big players have said they're planning moves into the 24" market, could be the bike that properly kicks it all off! The weight's 9.96kg, for those who care. Bearing in mind that back tyre's a bit of a whopper, that's not too bad...
  2. They sorta feel the same, but it's hard to describe 'cos they're pretty rolled back on my 24 so they feel more 'streety' rather than more trialsy like Trialtech Sports do when they're rolled forward in a normal trials way. They do feel reasonably similar though, it's basically just the bit between each bend that's changed, rather than from bend to tip.
  3. Not particularly - with a 68x128 BB mine cleared fine. The frame wouldn't really dictate if it was going to rub, that's purely BB length
  4. Trying to keep it at a certain price point, so it can't be a flat-out amazing spec. The stem feels really nice with it too, makes it still feel kinda streety without being too poop for trials.

  6. Haha, it'd be a pretty boring video of a bike sitting in our warehouse It's just an example build we did out of curiosity
  7. I'm feeling a bit 'meh' today and not capable of understanding what's going on around me, so expecting me to spot that Ali'd not taken the reflectors off the pedals was a bridge too far Manufacturers Stated Geometry (to be confirmed) Wheelbase: 1060mm Chainstay Length: 385mm BB Rise: +10mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 660mm EDIT: Just did a quick measure up of that bike - that geo's pretty accurate!
  8. There's the Trialtech Sport rim too if that tickles your fancy? Bit cheaper, especially the SL Grey. Good quality rims too
  9. Just the white 24" trials jobber - we got the Trial in white and Street in black to kinda differentiate them. White forks, frame and bars, black finishing kit - looks suuuupoib, to quote New Yorkers (again).
  10. That mini seat's been hacked up loads so it sits super, super low - with a 'normal' seat on you can get it pretty much slammed without cutting the seat-tube down. It looks kinda weird 'til you see the inside of that mini seat - the post has been totally removed, the webbing around the post has been ground out and the seat itself slightly reshaped so it does sit super low on the post without a clamp or anything.
  11. We put the newer Pivotal/Gusset seats on it and it looked fine, but the Mini seat just has that old school kinda look that fits it really nicely. It's probably worth noting for those who care that you can't 'slam' the Pivotal/Gusset seats as much as you can the Onza mini. Weighs 10.5kg by the way, to give you an idea...
  12. We had them on that light Rockman build on our site with a reasonably low-ish stem and they felt really nice. We've had a few e-mails from the dude who bought that bike and he says he's getting along fine with them.
  13. We built up Ali C's wet-dream bike using the Rockman Switch frame - old school looking, got a seat, V-brakes, etc. It rides really nicely, got a sweet old school kinda feel to it. That's with a mocked up cut down seat-tube...
  14. Me too! We've got that Trials model aaaalmost built in the stand but Ali's off sick today so we can only get it sorted when Ads has done some more admin-y stuff. Really want to have a stand on it to see how it feels. Tarty forged stem and Trialtech High Rise bars at the mo, looks soooo good.
  15. Christmas And yeah, I'd say they were worth the change! If you don't like them they're still pretty new on the scene so their resale value should be pretty high. I genuinely can't see you not liking them though
  16. In that Fans thread those pads are explained, and the forks aren't ours.
  17. I've got 'em on my Echo 24 with an Onza 85x20 stem. Really nice! Tipped back a little they feel great.
  18. I think I'd actually get my face literally kicked off if I did that.
  19. Cutting a few choice knobbles out of my Monty made it shed mud a lot better, and generally improved the grip. Still left quite a few on though
  20. Just took some photos of them, and had a quick feel of the 24" Trials build we've done. Really nice feeling bike, it's a pity we can only really backhop it in the office!
  21. Running order wise yeah, but to be able to go out on a trial having only dabbed once when people who've dabbed more go through seems odd. The new format was really bad, the commentators didn't know what was going on, the riders didn't know what was going on, the crowd certainly didn't...
  22. Got one of these on the front of my bike: Works pretty good Got it in the 180mm size on the front of my mod. One bonus of it is that the dips in the rotor make it look smaller, so the 180 Gusset on the front looks like the same size as the 160mm Mono Trial I've got on the back. Definitely Mono Trial for the rear...
  23. Not particularly? Feels absolutely spot on with that BB rise.
