  1. Why not just explain it so other people can learn from it if they're in the same situation with a regional/local body in future? Part of the problem with this thing with British Cycling is that there's never been one explanation for what's going on with them so there's no way for people to work out solutions to it. This is essentially just adding the Scottish body to that list, and doesn't really help anyone for the future.
  2. Why not discuss them here, out of interest? If they're 'professional' reasons - which I'd expect for them declining putting up a page - then there shouldn't really be a need to hide them away. If they're 'unprofessional' reasons then if they don't care about it, there's no real need to care if their reasons are explained on here too (not least because they're unlikely to see it if they have that little interest in trials).

Not that I'm aware of, sorry. Plans to change that in future, but not quite for this one unfortunately.

You're mentioned by name in Danny's book. I assume you'll be getting a copy to carry around with you so you can make sure that everyone knows you've been to the flat before. Sweet Jordan Leigh tribute by the way.
  5. Having a lunch break at the Open Trial with live results seemed to work pretty well. As Ross said though, this isn't really the problem...
  6. Depends on the type of glasses you go for. I always go for ones that have got decent adjustment on the little nose pieces, and decent stems (or whatever they're called). I get them fitted properly at the opticians, then generally just tweak them (carefully!) by hand to get the fit right so they stay in place. I did a month of MTBing in NZ in 30°C heat last year and didn't have a problem with them moving, and on my Arcade they're spot on too.

There's nothing good about lower BBs As Luke says there have been minor tweaks too. The head tube, BB yoke, disc mount, seat stay bridge and seat clamp have all changed. There might be some minor geo tweaks in future, but the Arcades have always been pretty much spot on feel wise so there's not been much incentive to change it.

They sold out of the first batch, the plan had been to do the second batch in a different colour. It's exactly the same frame kit/bike (apart from the Tripod seat/post setup). The lead times for things like this mean that decisions are made months and months in advance. It's not a snap decision, it's something that's planned. That's why it was all timed so that when the first batch sold out the new ones were pretty much ready to go with only a relatively small down time for bikes being out of stock (from Inspired at least). Having seen both of the colours in real life, I'm keen on both. I prefer the smoother finish on the Skye frame not least because it means that you can clean it up a bit easier (taking photos of the black one was a bit of a nightmare as the coarse finish picked up dirt/lint/anything and was pretty stubborn about it). As Ali said before, with the Arcade, it's colour is pretty much designed to work as the complete bike Inspired sell. Matte black parts throughout with that frame colour looks really good as a complete setup. There are a few BMXs out there with similar colour schemes that look really cool.

  10. Yeah, but screaming them at you in a wet car park in Burnley and not letting you back in the car until you'd agreed to never bitch crank again is different to making a vlog codifying them all
  11. I don't want to get too Ali C about things, but your riding would look so much cleaner without the little kicks here and there, e.g. the crank to manual up that ledge in this. You can clearly do that line without having to kick into that manual, and it'd make it look way smoother, you'd have a better body position for it and it would probably feel way nicer to do too. You're doing good stuff as it is, but if you can just clean some bits up it'd boost it up more.
  12. That might work, although the issue you'll potentially run into is that the Spanish BB bearings tend to be either 9 or 10mm wide, whereas regular ISIS ones are usually nearer 7mm (unless they run a double bearing setup, e.g. Try-All, Reset) where it'd be 14mm drive, 7mm non-drive. I'm not 100% but I think the ID of the bearings might be veeeeery slightly different too. Seem to remember ISIS is 22.2mm, but I think Spanish bearings tend to be a 'true' 22mm, although again I'm not 100% sure.
  13. They're almost always just sold as a kit with bearings and axle unfortunately - you might be able to grab one second hand, but as far as I know the only people who sell that kind of stuff as an aftermarket product are Echo themselves and Trialtech, and they both just do full kit. I think I've heard of some flatland BMX companies doing similar (or at least flatlanders using ISIS cranks on press-fit setups), but I don't really know too much about the details of that setup unfortunately.
  14. First post in almost a week - that's how you lurk, people. For serious though, I don't know if this is really how apologies work, but sorry that you cut your keyboard in half G.
  15. Are we talking old school US pro dude Chris Clark? That name rings a bell from Evolve...
  16. Are you going to use the gaps between the keys as cut lines?
  17. Another token clip, filmed exclusively for the benefit of 'someone' on OTN:
  18. Nice video dude, it's really cool to see people from different backgrounds all going on a trip and riding/skating/doing stuff together. Really liked your 360 off that block too! Looks like you guys found some really nice spots
  19. Cheers dude. It's a bit ragged but it went most of the way round I guess
  20. Awesome news dude! Good luck with the whole thing, I'm sure you guys will smash it
