  1. nice to see another one has realised its not all about sex! she seems to be making all these rules and then just going against them anyway, i am pretty sure it would be diffrent if the situation was the other way around. tell her to f**k off! Dont be treated like a mug purely because you think she is a hottie or whatever. Give her a bit of her own behaviour mate! She will soon hate it!
  2. oh no no i know you wasnt digging mate! I was in the wrong i completely mis understood the question you asked and grabbed the chance to babble about cars! but yeh all of that i listed can be easily removed and replaced. good luck and get somephotos up!
  3. i thought you dropped the engine out of the bottom If not do that! i have taken many engines out and its ALWAYS easier to drop them out the bottom!
  4. i wasnt saying you should do that... i was saying it is pointless doing that and i dont understand why "some" people do! You can take the whole lot of the insides out and get it back in. rear seats pop out carpet pulls up rear quater pannels pop out dash steering shroud and all of that palastic tat pulls of simple enough i would leave the sound deadning crap down because it costs money to replace door cards come of simple enough Rip out the audio. simple enough to do and will save you a fair amount! you can run a car down the strip with no bonnet or bumpers cant you? If so take off the bonnet, wings, bumpers, side mirriors ect All simple enough to remove and replace! hardest bit will be the dash better reply?
  5. The question of stripping is very erm odd in my eyes! i have seen people strip out the rear seats and sound deadeing but then leave in the whole front lot like the carpets dash doorcards ect, then stick a set of subs in the back.... In my honest opinon, if you want to strip, get the whole lot out, dont do it half hartedly! Take out the dash, carpets, rear seats, sound deadening, quater pannels, head lining, pasanger seat, plasic shrouds, car audio, power steering, air conditioning, cruise control, ABS the whole lot! you arent going to save that much weight by just removing the rear seats and carpet even the rear mirrior like said above! Also in my opinion if you want to use your car for daily driving do not strip it out! A very good mate stripped out his S14 even cut out the metal arches and put overfenders on and christ, it was SOOOOOOO loud! But it makes you feel like a proper racing driver Either do it all or not at all!
  6. Can i stand at the front because its my borth day
  7. I cant at the moment sam sorry! Urm if you want it power coated i know a place in chatham which can do it for around £40 which is darn good! i got them to do the subframe on my old mini and that was ace!
  8. Pretty supprised at how many on here are doing graphics design (Ba(hons) Thats what i am hoping to do too!

  11. no problem mate! add me up tommrobinson@hotmail.co.uk if you wanna chat mate, you dont want to be faffing your education up! it will help you out a lot later down the line!
  12. i left school with B's and C's mainly and had also finished a art and design apprenticeship at a very reputable collage. I left school and had had enough of working hard and just wanted to get some qualifications and get into a job. I enrolled on a Motorsport engineering course at the top level and thought it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread, after going there for 3 months i realised that this was not the thing i wanted to do, i had a paddy and then wanted to get into electrical engineering after months of trying to find some thing and no one giving me the time of day i decided going back to collage was my only option, I got on the phone to my old collage tutor (from my art apprenticeship) told her my problems and she told me to come in for a chat. I went in we chatted and she gave me a deffinate placement on a 4 year Course which now starts in september. My advice for you if you are leaving school now is.... Dont go straight into work, you will end up in a dead end job (there is a possibility of getting some where but it is small!). I enrolled on a collage course because all i did in my spare time was play with cars, i then grew to hate cars and the collage course. if you have something as a intrest dont mix it with education! When you do choose a collage corse look at what career paths there are to go down, i didnt do this when i enrolled on my collage course, the option for me was to work as a grease monkey in a MOT centre which i did not want to do! Although i would have had the qualifications for some thing much higher i would not have had the exsperiance to match it so i would have been no use! Urm i hope thats of some help to some one, a lot of babble there! QUICK EDIT HERE! I am not saying do not go to collage, collage is great i have been going there for the past 3 years and i love it! It could not be better, You are there because You want to learn and it is completely diffrent to school! Collage is ACE
  13. good man, whipping that engine out shouldnt be too much of a task, i always find older cars are easier to take engines out of, New cars with ecu and crap suck
  14. I understand what you are saying there mate. no one is going to get on the train on thier own, they will always bring some one with them! So that therefore gives you the larger numbers! Hopefully it will be the biggest london ride yet?
  15. there is a high posibility that you could just get a disiplinary or some thing for it, Another bloke i worked with got sacked for being in the loading bays with his car keys in his pocket as they accused him of putting the stock in his car..... so they was very strick so please dont base what could happen to you on what i have said! Whatever you chose to do stick to it and everything should be fine!
  16. I used to work for M&S and they used to do this, throw things away purely because the box they were in had been opened, they would not sell it for a reduced price. Anyhow some one i knew got caught, they couldnt produce any proff that they had payed for them, they got kicked out. Say magical faries put them there! Job Done Who do you work for out of intrest?
  17. Wouldnt be supprised i remember when you told us all you liked kissing men. Was that actually true? one part of my mind tels me it wasnt, but the other half was very convinced. Good luck with whatever you chose to do, we will always love you Mr Nicolas
  18. i can do the lot for you MSN me for details and whatever... Tommrobinson@hotmail.co.uk
  19. Ignore all of the above comments bumsong, if you have the drive to get it done it will be done! just stick at it, It will just cost a fortune in welding wire and metal! As for pannels get in the yellow pages and find a breaker of the car which you have, i thought the chances of me finding a classic jaguar breakers some where localy would be a imposibility but managed to find one a 15 minute drive away, and they are usually filthy cheap! might look like a shed now but get things on a list, what to do and i what order and itnot seem as such a pile of shit! Sils you can use off of any car, as long as they line up and do the job, I made the sills for my old mini at collage with a spare sheet of metal i had found! The arch on the back of my mates MR2 is a metro arch so as long as it gives you a vauge template which you can work with, use it! i recon you should flip the Axels, Did it to a VW caddy and it dropped it by some thing like 100mm odd. Whats the bed like in the back? Also the floor pannels? Inner wings? around the suspension struts? Does it run?
  20. buy some coil overs and wind them all the way out so they are monster truck style? My old coilovers when wound up made my car sit stupidly high!

  22. Nice little motor mr song You dont relly want a restoration forum as they wont go into much detail about what you want to know, you want to get onto a oweners club or somehing similar. I assume you and the welder will be seeing a lot more of each other very soon!
