Same! Had so many problems with plastic washers. I've got some echo alu washers BRAND new - haven't even opened the packaging because I modded mine to not require washers in the end. £5.50 posted. kool kids use washerless clamps anyway

If its any consolation I rawed by frame in my uni shared bathroom. Did a super concentrated mix and didnt use gloves. Got a few splashes on me which hurt alot. But luckily no one died. Although saying that I havent heard from Mike in a while...
