  1. Doesnt matter topsy. I ended up buying a new sound card and a 650w PSU in the end. Both items unrelated.
  2. I got with someone a few years younger and it felt a bit weird. Funnily enough she texted me last night.
  3. Yeah I think we were riding them the other day. Right near Kirklees college?
  4. White with black with white would be cool. With black.
  5. I'd deffo stick a grind on mate if you get chance, last Xmas ride in leeds was very snowy and icy
  6. How could it pop the master piston out if the brake lever is holding it in there?
  7. What would happen if the brake pads were really close to the rim though. Sure the pads would hit the rim then the frozen water would have to be forced somewhere...
  8. Thanks for the replies. And I can't remember a figure but they were lighter than the trial techs is all i can remmeber.
  9. You must have started writing before my cheeky edit at the top
  10. Hey. I've recently got my bike up riding again, loving it however it does still feel pretty heavy-ish. More so at the back end. Front is pretty light. Any ideas which parts I could replace, or which are weighing the most to reduce some extra flab? Spec is: Frame - Onza Comp 2010 Fork - Echo Urbans 20" Front Rim - Atomz front rim on Viz non disk hub Rear Rim - Echo TR 19" on echo TR disk hub Tyres - Front tyre - Maxxis creeper crawler. Rear tyre - maxxis creeper crawler 2.5" Bottom bracket - Onza cheap jobby from eBay. Cranks - Echo TR Freewheel - Echo SL 108 Bashring - Echo half ring Pedals - DMR v8 Headset - Firstblog Z Stem - Bonz Handlebars - Tensile risers. Grips - Trialtech Foams Front Brake - Avid sd7 calipers, tektro lever, LGM pads Rear Brake - HS33 oil bled with 4 finger lever, heatsink yellow pads, SL booster, Echo clamps Chain - KMC Z610 HX, 3/32" Oh and not really interested in replies that go "just get out and ride" it's more of a research thing as to whats weighing me down!
  11. Good old Neil! Just realised... you're missing quite a vital part and i'll give you a clue, they're wheels.
  12. YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!! haha always love your riding style mate. And Christ was that morley that looked like something from doomsday? The highstreet looked dead! Look forward to seeing you on the 17th
  13. You've been riding 6 years?!
  14. I'm at Uni there but from Leeds. Adam Baxter lives in Huddersfield too. Hudders is proper good too!
  15. Bet you're well excited. I'd love to receive a package like that, building it all up. Nice one mate.
  16. I've never known someone with so many brake problems Almost as bad as me (but that's usually down to shitty parts and bodges) Why the LGM hate? Mine worked flawlessly on the rear, butchered the pads to run on my front vee and as you saw last week they were working pretty well up front. Had them over a year now! You say they wore at a funny angle, due to them slipping out of the clamps or whatever. I reckon you should get the Echo washerless clamps, grind your LGMS as flat and smooth as you can - no point buying even more pad refills. Then get some nice new bolts, basically refurb the back end. LGMs work brilliantly in the wet. I rode pretty much all winter in Sheffield with Ogre with my LGMs and they were so confidence boosting. Your pads sounded great on the huddersfield ride, they were biting like a right vagina (alot). Seemed perfect. It's only since they've worn funny you're having problems.

Put them under my jeans and they keep me proper proper warm. Its just my.hands that get really cold easily. I need some decent riding gloves. Any ideas?!
