I've had a go on quite a few pro riders' bikes and not a single one had good brakes. These guys just don't need them So I guess for a standard rider these Deores would be absolutely useless but for pros they might be acceptable? Not even kidding. Get the technique right and you shouldn't have to rely on brakes as much. Anyway, I don't want to get into another Disc argument.
