Ali C
I have used them, got them directly from the Cousteliers.I found they were good, but not amazing. No better than other pads on the market thats for sure, crms, rock pads, croco pads etc.I have had a go on other peoples bikes with these pads as well, they seem to have REALLY good bite, but lack all hold from my tries I had. Daniel C
Ive had a set in cnc backings and in plastic backings and i must say they are the worst pads ive ever used.they had ok bite but the hold, well there wasnt any hold they just slipped constantly.I also had a go on a friends bike who has them in cnc backings on the back and i nearly ate the wall they were that bad. The bite IMO was quite nice, But the hold was foshizzle.
ginger allen echo
Ive got a pair in cnc backings on the rear at the moment and i think they are very nice. Not the best hold but it is still good.Bite is brilliant.Ive got them on dead grind with tar. but i think i might get the new Plaz pads in TNN engineering backings or Phat Pads.Ginger Allen

Echo-Scott
Me and my mate run them on the rear with a slightly worn light grind and a tiny tiny touch of tar. Deffinitly one of the best pads i have ever used and certainly the best pads my mate has ever had. Lock up amazingly and hold really well. Had mine on some where around 3/4 of a year and im half way through them, So they last in my experience.
ginger allen echo
Im not asking you, Im telling you. GET PHATPADS. BenJohnson
I have got a set of them on the rear of my bike. In ultimate calipers on a smooth rim and a little bit of tar and to be honest with you i have never had a better brake. the hold is good and bite if awesome. not once have i had my brake slip whilst doing anything although i did manage to snap my heatsink vee adaptors with them

cox.
I know im just trying to get them to buy phatpads, Ive heard so much about them. So why not get such a well known person like me to advertise. lol,yeh i had some cnc coust pads on a grind a while back on a fairly harsh grind and they were mazing.. take awhile to bed in, but once there sorted there good pads.. hold, bite and have aload of sound! but its well worth getting them in cnc backens..also they work on smooth rims really well aslo, so thats another but atm, on a smooth rim best pads round are probly mega pads, best pads ive had since coust to be honest.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Heatsink
Coust pads have a worthy reputation. I get alot of very strong praise for them, hence the reason I continue to order them from Michel Coustellier (last 5 years) & hand cut them to size as one of the HSB services. The very first set I cut was almost the last since it was a shock how much work the compound takes to cut! The current pads I prepare now benefit from a wipe of a very effective degreaser I've discovered. Squeaky braking straight out of the box!Coust CNC MaguraCoust MaguraCoust VeeSteve
