MadManMike Posted July 26, 2009 Report Share Posted July 26, 2009 (edited) Basically, I don't have a bike with gears.I want to do a long distance ride just to see how much it hurts lol.It's 37 miles, up and down steep hills.Plan is to leave Hastings at about 7 or 8am, stop at pubs on route to refuel (Give or take 2 pints, non alcoholic stops!!), then get the train back to Hastings later on that evening. It's gonna be one weekend next month, anyone is welcome to join me but please be aware that this wont be Tour de France material as I'm on a DMR with a slammed seat If anyone is up for it they're more than welcome to crash at my flat the night before.PS, don't comment in here FAT PANTS - we all know you could do 37 miles on your single speed lead bike with one wheel.
