Split Pro2 Hubshell

I've just split a Hope Pro2, not the ss/trials version, is there anyway of clamping it together then welding it back up with more alloy wrapped then welded around the driveside to try and keep it together or is it a lost cause?

Post if you've got a solution.

Would have thought so, they're very good at stuff like that!

Besides, it helps them out with their development when they recieve something thats broke as they properly assess them to stop it happening in the future from what I've been told.

Unlike their hubs apparently (BASHER).

Hope warranty is crazy. I sent back a rotor and a carbon lever blade, expecting the rotor to be replaced because it was one of the earlier Mono Trial rotors that cracked pretty easily, the lever blade however was cracked because I fell off, so I chucked it in anyway and they replaced it for me, noice!

I split mine, sent it off, got it back in the post three days later.

Hope are fricken' awesome with customer care - everyone I know that has had one split gets a new one back for the price of posting it to them.

Also - I originally had a 36h. Sent off with a note asking if I could have a 32h shell put on. "Sure. No worries" they said.
