Help with sidehops from rear wheel...

You have to be as quick as you can to lift yourself out of the preload too, thats the key to getting a good amount of lift.
A good preload, added with an explosive upward jump and a fast tuck will send you higher.

Brad, you will need to start setting up further away. 8" Is far too close. Your bars will be over the wall, which wont be ideal at all when you get to near bar height on the rear wheel.
The sooner you do it, the more you will benefit and progress instead of hindering your progression. (At sides)

this has a lot sidehops in, might help :)

Try preloading to side that you are going and putting your front wheel a bit closser to the wall then the back, and maybe try from two wheels to get the hang of letting the brakes off.

ive watched a lot of videos like this, its not really the preload and the jump im struggling with really, its the timing of, releasing the brake and jumping, im having trouble with

ill just have to try and practise JUST sidehops when i ride

ill get the hang of it in a year

ill try and upload a little video maybe that will help :)

thanks mate
