SamKidney
Just purchased a bicycle complete with a set of Try-All carbon forks. They look a tad well used but in sound condition otherwise. Any way I can neaten up the scuffs on the laquer/resin on the outside of the fork legs?
BJ.
Flat and polish them and then coat with a good few coats of fresh laquer.
isitafox
Have you bought neils bike?
craigjames
Pretty sure it won't be a normal clear lacquer on them, no guarantees if you spray them up with a normal lacquer that it won't react with what is there/ the carbon/ resin etc.

Greetings
I'm pretty sure these forks have a normal gel coat on them and no clear coat as such. You can even out the scratches using sand paper (600, then 1000) and then polish them out. Spraying a clear coat on the forks might work in the short run but I'd expect flaking to occur sooner or later.

Surely you only clear coat to protect paint?
