Here's what I drive at the moment: (all loaded up ready for NASS '03 here :ermm: )

Here's what I'll be driving by the Summer (sometime):

I've done loads to it since this was taken: K&N filter installed, exhaust re-worked to give more clearance all round (and proper silencer on now!), electrics almost complete, rollbar made and fitted, seatbelt points welded on... if all goes well it will be on the road for the summer!

is that a caterham 7???

Your browsers just cacheing the old one after youve changed it and the page loads hit CTRL+F5 and it should change :ermm:

It's a Tiger Avon: one of the Lotus 7 copies. Caterham bought the original moulds from Lotus and as far as I know still use them, this is just very similar... a replica.

How rich am I? :P I'm not. I'm absolutely fooking brassic now, but I have a sweet little sportscar in my garage to show for it, not just a headache and a fat overdraft like most students.

iv got an old piccy of my escort thats for sale and bucky got a better piccy of the van the other night too.

those arospeed wheels are nice as you say though there musnt be much to the laquer. im going to take them off and either get them coded to the white of the van just the outer edge or just get em laquered more.

ps if you look at the arch at the passenger wheel you can see where it pulled the arch out due to the wheels being too big :) well maybe lowering it too much could have been the problem :S

My beauty, '98 R Mini COOPER (haha spoonz) 1.3i BRG 10" alloys, soon to be 12*5.5" deep dishs, soon to have sports pack arches, and loads of brightwork, Monte carlo interior pack, also seat extension brackets (because im 6 ,4" haha)

So there she is(currently under tarpoling at the moment due to the winter ect, Picture was taken last august, shes in better shape now but i can't take a picture, due to the fact of lazyness :P )

There are some lovely cars on here, so many minis. The Escort Mexico is really quite special  :P

Anyway my contribution, seems a bit ordinary in this crowd but she's mine and I love her, even if she is a little diesely......

Thanks, Its my second car, isurance would have killed me as a first car.

Its usually a lot dirtier than that, i had just washed it. Damn white cars :ermm:

Its cost me 2k got it cheap..er because its my uncles best mates garage.

Yeah... :ermm: Those Sierra style rs originals doesn't suit for the style...

I'm getting Minilites :P but it took all me money to built that car...

1.8l Pinto SOCH, kent cams (fast road), ZF 5-speed transmission, AP racing semiracing clutch kit, Custom made by friend exhaust pipe, old Weber Carbs, Group 4 rear axle and original LSD(!!), 5-link... list goes on and on... (i can't tell all specs in English 'cos I don't know jargon that well...)

Very fun car to drive! I have also mk2 escort project in garage.

This guy is speaking my language... I might do something like this as a next project! The Escort Mexico looks absolutely gorgeous, the only thing that might have made it better is if it was a Cortina :P haha!

Ive been helping my old man on and off repair his mates mk1 escort historic rally car :ermm: Got rolled over and the entire roof destroyed but its now almost back to its former glory :P Ill get some pics sometime if i can find a scanner :P

Shame about the wheels on the Escort.

If you've got a 98 Copper you shouldn't have 10" wheels! They'll most likey be 13s. Still nice though  :P

Also 5.5" is skinny for a mini, some people run 7" Superlights...  :P

I cant be bothered to modify wheel arches so im going as big as i can but without pushing it :P

and you can come and measure the wheels if you like? there right in my garage waiting for you and your tape measure(by the way do they look like 13's in the picture? methinks not :ermm:

actually, in that pic they look like the standard rover 'minilight style' rose petal alloys, which are 4.5x12'', unless u have converted to 7.5'' s discs or similar, tehy are DEFINATELY not 10's, and there really would be little point to be honest, unless u REALLY prefered 10's. plus the fact that theyre running on 145 tyres would suggest its the standard rover wheels, because u would have to be BEYOND stupid to convert to 10's and fit 145 tyres.... so lets just agree that theyre 12's :ermm:

DONT fit sportspack arches with 5.5x12's, have u got ANY IDEA of how stupid it will be? the wheels will oversail the arches by about 2'', and look terrible!

ive got 6x12 deep dish wheels from MWS, which as far as i know have a greater offset than any other 6x12 mini rim, and tehy ONLY just fill the rear sportspacks, it still looks iffy in some pics, although its fine up close and personal.

any way....

heres a pic of mine (whole at last)

its still not finished, its been resprayed, but its still not been polished up yet, as im waiting a few weeks for the paint to really harden properly before i give it some beans with the buffer!

still awaiting the bonnet stripes, and pinstripes down the sides, needs lowering ANOTHER inch at the front, and a 1380cc motor being built up as we speak, to be dropped in in summer....

ps: the mexico is AWESOME, ive got a 72 mk1 1300 Gia im intending to restore one day.... lovely cars

That mini is looking lush prawney lovin it :P But i still prefer them with a normal front bumper and plate. Cant you stick one of those on your carbon front :- Has the paintjob been flatted (ie sanded finely to remove any dust then buffed up again) yet? I'm pretty sure we did that to mine only about a week after it was painted :P

Other than that looking :ermm: but can u remove that blue anodizing :P

The pinstripes and bonnet stripes will finish it off lovely.

This is my new ride, i got it like 2-3 weeks ago....tis a wee bitty quick..

VW Gti...APR chip and intake...pushing 220hp..exhaust and intercooler to come.

every single chrome part is brand new, and the paint has been flatted down to its super smooth, but not buffed up to a super shiney finish yet!!!

its all so shitty and dirty atm because ive not had time to clean it all up because ive been so busy working to get it through its first MOT under my ownership, which it passed with flying colours on thursday, needing only a wheelbearing, ball joints, and some adjustment of the rear brakes!

tyres are shitty because the main road out of my village has been closed for a week and i have to drive up an amazingly muddy back street to escape home for the next few weeks....

the annodised blue pins are also only a temp until i get some stainless ones.

when i bought them there was only blue or red available, i thought it was better to contrast than having a mismatched shade of red....

silver comming very soon

along with bonnet stripes, pinstripes, and cooper laurels behind the stripes on the rear quarters.

could make a bumper fit on the front danny, but i dont really want to :ermm: it would mean drilling more holes on my carbon front for the plate and bumper, and once the holes drilled its there for good really

i may decide to bumper it up again, but for now im happy with the cut off street racer type look.

after all, come summer time the 1380cc is going in, and then it really will be QUICK

(need to lower the front a bit more....)

Aint that just a jack up and adjust job? Though you had hi/lo's? But knowing you the entire car has probably changed since then :ermm:

Will the 1340 be much over the 1275?

You considered getting the side shirts to go between those sportspack arches?
