NO..... plasic maggies are shit as they wont lock as well as a metal piston casing if thats what you mean and for beginers a Vee is better as it is easier to adjust and set up without fiddling with grinds pads tpa and accurate set up (never knew a plasic maggie existed)

How can they be "resonable" i havent checked out the rest of the spec yet(comparin it to the non maggi 2six) but from what i can tell your paying an extra 200 squid for 8 gears (7 on the cheaper model) and some slightly larger tyres, and i have an incling that the front fork isn't dedicated 4 bolt, wow that's such a skank, methings just putting hs33s on it and lopping 50 quid would have been better

It all depends on the Vee set up.

Some 'V' Brakes are bloody hard to set up and can generally just be shit. Wjatever pads you have.

Unless you start spending some good money on some, but then your talking the same as magura's.

And for what it's worth, I'd just get HS33's. They have alot of power and are easy to set up once you know what you're doing.

No fiddling around with springs etc :ermm:

Oh yeah, HS11's are shit

:P
