Lesson Pegs!

Recommended Posts

the guy that has the leeson 609 with the pegs hardly uses them anymore - it was a bit weird to ride trials with them!

anyhow you can sidehop to your dropouts instead.

I have the superstar micropegs on the front at the moment and I am loving them - added a whole new dimension to my riding, while being small/light enough not to get in the way for trials (Y)

you need d-streets i think

zeee forks

as for fitting pegs..........i have no idea, all i know is these are the ones they use with them....

im pretty sure they used to have screw in peg mounts, but it never caught on

you could just use a standard qr fork and run a solid axle (bmx hub-10mm is the same width) and use a 10mm peg upfront? or get a 14mm axle hub and grind it so so it has 2 flat edges to fit in the fork, and then use 14mm pegs, if that makes sense?

alot of hassle, but if its for park/street i feel the gains outweigh it (Y)

I'll be running 10mm hub and peg.

It looks as if the peg will hit the fork and won't fit. My current plan is to hack a section out of the peg to fit around the fork leg.

Backup plan is to buy rigids.

10mm axles + pegs = dodgy

If I were you I'd go for 14mm, wouldn't be too tricky, would simply a drill and some imagination (Y)
