Hey All,  I present to you very special footage I captured in 2001, from the UCI Worlds, in Beaver Creek, Vail, Colorado.  I was an American, competing in the Junior category at 16 year old.  I was in way over my head, but a massive learning experience. Backstory of how this footage finally wound up on YouTube:  In 2001 I flew out to Colorado to compete as a Junior at Worlds, in Vail, and borrowed my mom's 8mm camcorder to capture some of the action.  I knew I would be seeing mind blowing riding that I've never witnessed before.  After the trip, the 8mm tapes sat in storage bins for 20 years and I forgot about them.  My mom passed in 2022 and I found the old tapes in her storage and paid a company to get them all restored and digitized.  There were also unbelievable home movies from when I was very young, like 7, so very tender footage indeed.  Anyways, this trials footage was on the tapes (took many hours to sift and edit through) and I finally am uploading to my channel for the world to see.  Remember, I was only 16 at the time and not a experiencing filmer so I did the best I could.  But here it is- hope this is cool for some of you OGs.  Also, there is more footage to come where I filmed many sections from an American comp featuring JJ G and Jeff Lenosky.  So keep an eye on my channel for more vintage footage like this.  Thanks all.  JJ Gregorowicz in 1 section: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpkJtwtdaI4&t=6s Sidehop world record contest, (Bruno Arnold, Benito): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1GVuuQNnao&t=174s Kenny Belaey in 2 sections (in Junior I believe): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiS3sC26OUo&t=1s Benito Ros, Marco Hosel riding sections: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bITDz_urGGM&t=16s Bruno Arnold warm up move: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14R04GH4MVQ   It's worth noting this was the weekend before 9/11 happened, and world changed forever...  

Just watched the one with you and Jeff Anderson from a while back!  That was awesome seeing you both in action!  huge respect to 2 of my favorites- looked like a blast.  Just having fun on bikes

I have done a setup in the past in my father in law's field. I think I have shared pictures here... I will try to find them!

I've not come across other people using them, but I really can't rate the Maxxis Aggressor highly enough. Really nice grip, very forgiving in terms of fold, feels less squirmy than others because of the tread pattern, and basically never pinches even if you're a rough, fat load like me. I got the Exo one, just for pinch protection, and it's great for an all-rounder.

Maxxis DHR, DHF are not rolling well, aren't they? Why not consider a high roller II with DH or double down casing? Not sure they are still available in 26".
