totaltrials
I'm not too sure whether that website explains anything, as the website said that before the organisers said it wasn't going ahead, so I would imagine they havn't updated the website, unless the dates have changed which I don't know.Phil. Simon
hope website is true thoughI don't. Stoneleigh is a shit venue, and they made a huge mistake going there.I'm all for the bikeshow being on, considering it is like the only one in the UK for us, bar the cycle show, but back at the NEC or somewhere new it needs to be. N.Wood
I don't. Stoneleigh is a shit venue, and they made a huge mistake going there.I thought Stoneleigh was much better, kinda fitted in with the whole ethos better and there was more space to do what you wanted, and each discipline was segregated which meant you didn't get BMX'ers rushing through the trials section trying to get to the BMX and visa versa. Worked ALOT in my opinion.
br3n
2005 saw the best trials line up theres ever been at the bikeshow etc etc etc... Martin Hawes Thats not a good thing!
F-Stop Junkie
The website was never updated after the announcement. Given that some people here are exhibitors, and no other news source has mentioned it's back on, I wouldn't get your hopes up!

Danny
I don't. Stoneleigh is a shit venue, and they made a huge mistake going there.Stoneleigh was a WAY better venue than the nec. It was worth the extra effort over getting to the NEC

Mark W
Stoneleigh was a WAY better venue than the nec. It was worth the extra effort over getting to the NEC Some aspects were good, but a lot were bad.The segregation of the halls was a bit annoying (moreso than the NEC). The dirt jump comp being held in a place with a super low roof was retarded. The BMX street was a bit badly laid out too, in terms of the arena. Ah well. But yeah, on the whole, wasn't too bad actually. Pretty easy to get to and park in anyway

Ah well. But yeah, on the whole, wasn't too bad actually. Pretty easy to get to and park in anyway I'll agree on the last point, we got so lost in that NEC place, it's like a small village and we didn't have a clue where we was going.I don't know really, i guess being media, i saw a lot more that others wouldn't really get to see.The whole low roof thing for the BMX and Dirt was frankly, f**king appauling. Anyone above, i think it was the 5th row we counted too, couldn't see a good damn thing except when the rider was pedaling up to something. When we came on friday, we was a bit late, and there was no queue or anything, and we kept having to double check where the entrance was, and even when we got there it didn't look at all official.Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad show, but there was so many bad points about it, and i just got a much, much better vibe of it being at the NEC. I could go on for hours, but heh.

haydon_peter
29th-30th july?Does that mean its only one night? No, that means NASS is from 29th-30th July!If you actually read through what I posted it states that the organisers of NASS will be organising 'Bike07' at a centrally located venue in the Midlands around April '07...So it looks like there wont be a Bike Show this year, but if all goes to plan there should be one in 2007.
