I didn't know about this but it sucks...I thought being able to run other OS was a really good idea that made the ps3 more than just a games console. I'm still pissed that they removed backwards compatablity from the new ps3. Really, really sucks IMO. the newer machines should be better not a step backwards OK they may loose money on the ps3...but it's sony they must make loads from mobile phones etc. Also don't they get money from game sales? I still have an original PS3 but it has broken and I replaced with a new slim one assuming it would do everything the old one would do. I'd happily install cracked software now and run pirate games just to spite the bastards.

Agreed, I'll vote green if I vote (or for another party that's pro left wing and supports animal rights etc.). Most of the main parties are corrupt scum anyway. They say we have to tighten our belts to get through the financial crisis but it is them who support capitalism and have allowed things to get this bad. F**k 'em!

Hi guys, I'm after buying myself a DH or freeride bike and I'm wondering if there are any good shops in the midlands that I could visit to look at the bikes. I know there's some good online shops but I'd like to go and view before buying so a physical shop would be better. Can anyone recommed any good ones. (my price range is about £2000 max). I can't really jump up anything that I couldn't roll up. Can't do hooks, side hop the correct way or gap to front on anything I couldn't gap to rear.

Hi all! I just replaced my chain couse my old one snapped the other day. I found that the new one (trialtech/kmc 3/32) skips. After examining my mech hanger and tensioner I noticed that it was pretty bent, so I have fitted a new hanger and straightened the tensioner. My chain line now looks fine and if I spin the cranks backwards it seems fine - it still skips when riding though. It seems to be skipping at the back end not the front chainring. My best guess is that the rear sprocket (gusset single speed 13t) has warn and needs replacing (it's about a year old). The bloke in my LBS rekons that it is unlikley due to the rear sprocket though. What do you guys think - I'll most likley order a new sprocket anyway to try? Cheers, John.

Lookin' very nice! I've got a similar build (frame/cranks/tensioner) and have just fitted a Trialtech stem and riser bars to make the front end higher. Rides pretty well now.

If your hub is ok then why not just get a new rim - assuming it's the rim that is dead. Swapping a rim is not as tricky as you might think.

Might have to try some heatsink pads myself. I still struggle to get decent braking performance. I have just ground a new tryall rim with a metal cutting disc at a 90 degree angle (as I think you are supposed to), with either plazzies (yellow) or blue rock pads it seems shite. Drives me mad.... I land the back wheel on an edge, rather than hold the brake goes 'whoosh' and I slip of the obsticle feeling annoyed to be let down!

I drive a Berlingo - It's great for filling with bikes n' tents n' stuff. It did break down on me once in Newquay though I used to have a 205, that was quite nice.

I'd avoid 'pedigree' animals as they usually suffer from genetic deseases from being inbred purely for look rather than health. Cats like that are treated more like fashion accessories for rich noobs that want a cat to match their handbag etc.

If you do get a cat, please get one from a shelter. Don't buy one from the pet shop. Every day loads of heathy cats (and dogs etc.) are killed because no one wants them as a result of over breading. They are often killed in the cheapest way that is not the most painless way - please don't contribute to this. Adopt a cat and save their life. Also remember the saying "a cat is for life, not just for Christmas". Sorry, I don't mean to come across as preachy or anything - its just a lot of people overlook this and buy one without thinking.

You surf naked? I've been tempted to drive back from the Quarry where I freedive in my wetsuit, it's an 1:30 hour drive though. I've had about a 5 weeks off riding (injury and illness) and just getting back into it again seems fine but everything's so slippy and covered in ice.

It would be nice if there was a LHD option available. I should technically sidehop to the right and I just know I'm gonna go through loads of mech hangers when I try and learn. I like the idea of that Onza prototype frame with the chain stay lowered to protect the drive.

There should be a 'don't know' option in the poll. Could be stolen or maybe he's just selling his kids bike and doesn't know much about it. Does seem suspicious though.
