  1. yup, should be a laugh c'mon peeps!!
  2. nah its more to do with the fact that no one had them when they first came out, so there was no feedback to go on except the reputation of the old frames (which didn't exactly have the best rep) i can honelstly say i bought mine off the fact that i was sick of uci "inch cherishing" gayness, and through speaking to Ali on msn about how much he liked how the frame rode. i love mine well done sir Ashton
  3. whooooop! might keep that one actually, make sure you pm me if ur gonna use it. (the idea being that it is up to the viewer whether the last word is F U C K or F O R K. rigid, geddit?) works both ways.
  4. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHTON!!!! ahem. check the gallery for pimpness... (i dont wanna get told off for over posting it!) Oh, and for Ali, i run the 100mm Echo Control stem with the 28" pazzaz risers and it feels nice and stable, but is still bunnyhopable. A good setup for comps i rekon. i think its 5 degree rise. I am however tempted to whack my old kore stem and invest in some azonics/eastons for more streetyness, but as i said this is fine for hops after some getting used to.
  5. ha, how bizarre! I had the exact same situation. I was also feeling that my riding was becoming stale. Soooo... i went from this.... to this..... I THOROUGHLY recommend this frame for any riders who are moving away from the whole uci style of riding, as is isn't as drastic as going back to something uber-short, but yet still has tha capabilities of manuals/spins/bunnyhops. Its also got the advantage of bb rise, meaning things like hooks should be just as easy/easier. AND its relatively cheap at 250 quid and its ace and i love it and.. you get the idea. This is a phenomenal frame, and im loving mine to pieces! They have really put the fun back into my riding and i now feel like ive had a new lease of riding life. Im sure Ali C and Porter will back me up on the frame too Rob
  6. This beast has just bin sold to a new owner unfortunately. I sure will miss her. alternatively use some sense and look here... www.btbike.com in the media section From what i know the bt 6's ride fantastically on the back wheel and are amazing for gaps/ sidehops, but they feel a little sluggish at times, and are in no way flickable lol Hope ths has helped
  7. oooooold vid a mate made around 6 years ago. This is the type of riding i desperately miss... quality is aight, but is best view without fullscreen mode, aspect ratio is a bit odd. Also apologies for the intro, video editing wasnt exactly our forte at that point. Besides dont blame me, my mate did it! But check out the power of windows 95! cooom onnn! And yes, I am very cool for wearing a dress. Soundtrack is "The Trick" by Prodigy enjoy. http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/download....i9TM228AAGOXkQc Rob
  8. mmmmm there she is. Obv. has a rear brake now. Eat ur heart out Ali chhers for the advice. COMMENTS
  9. Yeah, inspired by dannys recent vids i rooted out an oooooold vid a mate made around 6 years ago. 10. yeah it was the leeds vid of this dude that inspired me to go back to shorter bikes. As far as i know (a la from bigman) he rides a global? same as ali c used to apparently. might be wrong... yeah download the leeds videos (theres two versions) his backwards noserolls are sick.
  11. Ackrigg without a doubt, and probably waynio i rekon. Porter seems like a likeable chap and a good laugh too.
  12. man that dvd is beautiful. Kinda reminds me of the effort they went to in the Girl yeah right skate dvd. Awesome. Rob
  13. what a f**king pointless reply. Completely agree with you there. I'm impressed with someone tapping 50 inches, but im far more impressed with someone tapping smaller but tweaking into it (a la phil williams), it just makes it far more interesting.
  14. NOOOOO! not courier. please. Its such a f**king cliche font
  15. Has anyone else noticed the growing number of riders (including me) that seem to be selling up their long and low frames recently? For example, Ive seen god knows how many bt 6's for sale on this forum in the last few weeks. (or perhaps they are going longer?) I myself have personally got sick of riding a bike which, quite frankly, is only realy heaps of fun on techy natural. I came to the conclusion that i needed a frame that i could throw about a bit, and generally just ride around and still have fun on. whereas my old frame (bt 4) felt like i was lying on my stomach when it was on two wheels and bunnyhops looked pathetic & consumed far too much energy. this isn't a street vs natural thread. Its more aimed towards mega stable on the back wheel vs flicky bunnyhoppy bikes. (not vs at all though really just intrested in peoples views) Whats other peoples opinions on this? Is there gonna be a mass of people that have gone full circle as i have starting with street, becoming bored and wanting longer and lower, but after a few years uci stylee missing the old days? of course there will be people out there with differing opinions and itd be interesting to see what you all think. Rob
  16. hmm. i can see the angle, but imo it just hasnt worked. Dont go thinking you're some sort of "alternative" designer because fonts and straight lines are for pussies. although it was rather an amusing comment i must admit. The photography is pretty cool, but, hmm i dunno, it just seems like youve been reading too much of the face. lol.
  17. Has anyone else noticed that Adam Burns is listed in the 26" Masters category? I thought he'd had to quit due to injury? Perhaps hes gonna start ripping it up again? Hope so..
  18. yup. that there is some good shit. very impressive guys. Loving the negative space, and the navigation is simple and effective. top job.
  19. id like to see this with black stem, cranks, bash, pedals, hosing, grips and a silver maggie. shouldnt be too hard. cheers
