  1. Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm glad you guys have enjoyed it. It was deffently a fun afternoon.
  2. Thanks for all the comment guys. I'm working on a longer street trials video, just need to get some more footage. Lewis, not my camera, it's my mates, canon 5d, he has a bag full of lenses to go with it. We're going to go out and get some more footage very soon )
  3. Just thought I'd share a quick video my mate filmed of me riding the other day. He got some new camera gear and wanted to test it out. Hope you guys enjoy.
  4. I'd be interested in having a go, and see how it feels. There has been a lot of thought gone into it. Looking at the lower chain stay, that think is huge. I think it would help stiffen the rear up. Hopefully video turn up soon of it in action
  5. The temps here in Australia over chrissy also suck, not cause the cold, but the heat. Where I live average temp the last few weeks is 35degrees. The last few days have been 38 at 5pm. Not very good for riding at all
  6. Trial tech made them, they now make them in 110x35 If you use the 110x35 minus 1 10mm space the feel similar. On my old hex I had 2 10mm spacers and the 110x25, on my new hex I use the 110x35 using 1 10mm spacer. They feel so close that I can't even notice the difference
  7. Thanks for the reply, I figured you would know a bit about the material. I do love the frame and I love the look of the frame. Good work man. Look forward to a video
  8. Stem is 110x25 This is a good video. I love riding my hex these days

    Fufanu Tips

Learn on a picnic table and chair. Land back wheel on the seat part. Slowly work on keeping the front wheel up and keeping it up.
  10. This Doesn't stainless steel work harden and crack because it becomes brittle? I know at work it does,it's just standard stainless steel, not something fancy as you discribrd
  11. Been at work a lot man. I don't know when I'll be able to do it

    Gearing Hex 2011

    23:16 with a new chain doesn't need a tensioner.
  14. Some have failed after 30mins. How am I doing it wrong? I push the pin out, leaving 2 mm inside the plate, I pop the chain out,pop the other end in,line everything up. Push the pin in and watch how it comes through/into the other side plate. Making sure that its central, also make sure I have the same amount of pin sticking out of either side. I don't see how I'm doing it wrong,I can see if the pins aren't line up screwing up the hole, that doesn't happen. I have also ran the khe chain hassle free, also using the split link. I did get a lot of stiff links after 2 months, but no snapping. I've been using the 510hx's for probly 2 years now with a split link and haven't snapped one. I do have powerful legs and a lot of mass behind me,I've just had to find what chains work for me(the very painful way)
  15. A full half link chain stretches really bad. Each link stretches and the distance accumulates over length of chain. If you can find a odyssey bluebird chain, they have a riveted single half link. Ive been using this chains for a while trouble free
  16. I'll have to see what I can do.
  17. I've tried re riveting the chains after the join. I've mushroomed with a hammer, centre punch, chisel. I've even put a small tack weld on join. Basically use what works and keeps you happy, and safe
  18. I've got the DVD of jib one and 2. How good is v-dub. I love it when riders can swap between different bikes and still shread
  19. I doubt I'm doing it wrong, I was concerned about that. A good mate works in a bike shop for 15years and I asked him to show me the correct technique, how I was doing it was fine. The k810 have been one of the worst chains I've used. I've splayed the links many times, not where I joined them either. Snapped plates and sheared pins all while riding. The only chains I can use must have riveted pins and a quick link. Joined chains just fail on me. My best effort was snapping 3 different chains in one day. Since it works I'm not changing anytime soon.
  20. I know everyone is advising against it. I still use the quick links. I have no issues using them. I always break chains wheRe I have joined them "the correct" way. I've tried heaps of differently chain breakers with no luck,I don't push the pin all the way out either. I use the kmc 510hx with the joining link included. What's your chain line like? How old is your chain? What's your chain tension like?
  21. Intresting brake mount. I've run the identy rebate forks on my hex. They have a 200mm steer tube, disc mount and the a2c is 435. And disc mount They are probly the only fork I'd try on a trials bike
  22. I've already ordered one in Australia. I can't wait to get it and give it a ride. I agree that rear disc would be nice, however my current set up, hs33,tnn lgm, on a smooth ano rim. My brakes are amazing for Manuals and hold amazing when riding trials. I love the new colour ways. I ordered the green team, I hope the colour looks better in person.( no doubt it won't be sick)

This guys has some sick skill. Shows how versatile the inspireds really are. It's funny how some trials riders say he doesn't ride trials style enough, considering how many people brought inspired that cannot ride street style. This guys is doing what everyone else tries to do and rides the inspireds how they should be ridden This guys spreads on almost any style of riding, just need to work on his trials.
  24. I didn't mean anything when I sad stupid, hence saying to not take it the way. I am sorry i offended you. The reason I said it was because its a relatively big gamble using a process that's only new and untested. Thanks for the reply Rob. If the process works keep at it. I'm just skeptical that's all. It's good that you got 8 months our of your frame. What you're need to do is find a big hitter, say tunny,Watson and give them a repaired frame and let them go to town. If the bond/ carbon handles them monsters it would last everyone else. Personal I'm a big guy and I always seem to brakes stuff, way to much stuff. I think the longest frame I had was 1 year. I do religiously check the weld for cracks and always replace them when there's a small visible crack.
