What ever happened to actually giving out the prizes donated by sponsors? Does that not happen anymore?

Never mind The Clan, I rode my 24" too! Jambo sold his bike long ago. In fact, last night we were laughing about James nearly fighting Dans dad after 5'ing him on the last section of the day which decided the winner between him and Chris.

Flippin loved that. So much control. Epic looking spots too.

Learn to live with it. Better to be "stuck" than "slipping".

Hope someone can shed some light on my problem... I had my VW Passat in for a service last Friday. I was forced into having it serviced by my GFs step dad after he stuck 4 new tyres on it for me. "part of the deal of getting free tyres" or something. Anyway, a service and 250 quid down the swanny later I pick it up. Mechanic tells me what he had done to the car including changing the brake fluid, looking at the filters - f**k knows what else. Later on I do a reversing manoeuvre in a car park and notice my power steering is making a shitty noise, not even in full lock. Its never made that noise before.. Could this be anything to do with what they've been doing in the garage to "service" my car? There also sounds like there’s a hole in the exhaust now, although that might have been me kicking the ars out of the car on the way down south on Friday night.

Once was enough. Hopefully I can make it along to this on Saturday for a few hours. I'm down that neck of the woods so it would be rude not to.

Next time, keep the tyres on while you grind the rims. Taking the tyres off and on leaves a residue on the freshly ground rim which sometimes renders the grind useless. This only usually happens if the tyre is tight going on. If its a single wall rim you won't have to drag the tyre bead across the side wall of the rim.

Jungle drums are beating that Pete.M will be there on a street bike!

Did you keep the tyres on when you ground the wheels?

Yea, Id have to hold the magazine open/flat to stop any shine on the pages.. A few of the pages have a bit of graffiti on them which is a shame but hey-ho.

Taking pictures did cross my mind. Hmm. Ill do that for the next one and see how it comes out. Cheers It is a colour printer, just doesnt want to play ball. Pictures will probably be better quality anyway. Cheers for the support on this guys.

Ive got one where he mentions me I never knew you were in one of the Hop Idols. Ill have to see that!

Wrestling with the scanner to try and get it to do it in colour at the moment. Ill figure it out... Here's the first of the pile as a test. Can you read it ok? Edit: Hmm its not great. Ill stick to single pages I think.

Nice. After driving down to Bracken on Saturday, bike facing backwards, my handlebars and grips were covered in dead flies... Look out for that. Plus my Thule claw squishes my echo's down tube, so cant have it too tight.

He told you that? Shittest spy ever.

Probably not as happy as the land lord Boilers fixed. Didnt charge me... I was like, "so do I give blow jobs now, or what"?

Ive recently been given a bunch of old MBUK magazines which contain a load of trials content. There's things like Danny Holroyd giving tips on how to "front bump hop" on his red Pace, Akrigg manualing rails on his T-raptor, Ashton sharing his view on comp and street riders/bikes... Anyway, the plan is to scan and upload the pages in this thread for you'll to see and read. It won’t be in any particular order and I can’t say how often updates will be so bear with me. Ive got about 25 mags to go through.

Nice. Might just have to pop along this Saturday then. Open from 10 on the 19th?

The Empty so far has had a few ups and downs. Boilers broken, have to shower in work. No biggy. Managed around 20miles on the roady last night with an average speed of 17mph, top of 37mph. Slowly getting the legs back.

Matts rolling up to fronts and Stans side hops stood out there for me. Quite liked the song too. Good work.

I couldn't be doing with being threatened like that. "if you don't do this, then ill do that", sort of banter.

oh my god!! He uses Evo mounts?

To be fair, Bracken is a really hard place to ride. The sections were wet, long and hard. Oooooh eerrr. Dont be put off by having one hard day. Look at it as a positive - You'll be able to go to Shipley and it'll feel like riding street after Bracken.
