  1. That's the second time today someone's said that. @Rich Pearson Heres more!
  2. Dreading one or two of the rock sections here as they're always hench! I do enjoy the concrete ones though.
  3. The last thing I want to be seeing on a bike is cables. Bike looks solid.
  4. Cancelled due to low ticket sales. What's the chat with that? Are people finding their fun else where? Less folk riding? Lack of funds?
  5. Only after trying the hook to back wheel on that rock did I realise the line. Why am I using brakes I thought? So pulled it death grip 100% harder than actual brakeless as the temptation is always there.
  6. Big thanks to everyone involved in setting this up. Great day!
  7. Driving past what used to be the OKI factory, now Film studios, I noticed a very nice line of rocks.
  8. How to run your cable through, Sam Pilgrim style.
  9. Looks great dude! I still think you could take a link out of that chain to tighten it up a tad. Just noticed the chain protruding from the bash with the 24 tooth on haha. Yea, 22 on, some links out.
  10. Usually 22:16 is good, or if you want to go a little faster at things 22:15. The lighter 22:16 will let you hop on the back wheel a little easier if you're riding rocks at all. There is star fangled nuts you can buy for steerer tubes which you can feed your front brake cable through HERE but if those forks are echo you may struggle to hammer it in with the chunky alloy steerer tube. Other size options. Another option is to use a "normal" star fangled nut but before inserting it, you can snap off one of the upper and lower petals, which would leave space for your cable. You'd need to cut a slot in your top cap too to make this work. What size tyres did you go for? The 2.4s?
  11. Looking forward to it. Its a kids event so leave your sweary parents at home. https://www.muckmedden.co.uk/our-events/the-eliminator/
  12. You AND John getting stickers from Ed! I'm suffering greatly from the FOMO.
  13. Created an event for a race and some people actually came!
  14. If I were to actually think about the amount of eyes on me at the one time, I wouldn't be able to ride. I always just look at the ground while I ride round the rig. Busy shows last week.
  15. Holy shit that ankle break looked horrific! Glad you got all the footage you did before it happened as that sleeper session was sweet from both of you.
  16. Its got a really neat profile to it. Ill get a photo asap. As mentioned, you'll need one of these along with it. Nice wee bolt
  17. Nice work dude, edit worked really well. I had an awesome day at Shipley with you guys! I wonder if she ever got her phone back? haha.
  18. First of all. If you put "Trails Noir" on that thing I'll slap the face off you Trial Noir! Good idea! It'd have to be in the text Chris used too?! Im not 100% on that model tensioning up but if it can and you can get the tension right it would be a good move. It'll be something along the lines of taking the spring out and flipping it round? I recently found a super cheap tensioner on ebay which does exactly that. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202382814823 doesn't come with a bolt to mount it though... I've had mine on for a while and it works a treat. Personally I wouldn't go with the whole Phone Home stuff... too much of a gimmick.
  19. Very nice. Happy to have helped on that bar and stem combo! Looks spot on. Funnily enough, I used to run a 120mmx15deg stem on mine with 1.5" bars haha. Nice on the back wheel but hard as hell to pull up to manual. Good decision on stripping the rims btw. They look great in that raw alu. Excited to see what the frame looks like once painted. Are you thinking of getting stickers made up for it too? Hopefully you can get a good tension on that chain with the single wheel pully.
