  2. Just stick some pink cloth in your rim. You don't NEED the proper stuff. Hell - I've seen someone with crisp packets for rimtape
  3. If you're JUST starting - then whatever's closer to home.
  4. f**king hell.... Someone plays dangerous at 1:16! I laughed almost as loud, and in the exact same way as the guy behind the camera

    Post Bike!

Woo - TFTube's working again Dunno how long it's been working for - but this is the first one I've watched on it since it "died". The camera angle on that skid was wicked
  6. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not - so take pitty on me... but "SLIGHTLY"?! They're almost like trampolines.... STUPID springy things, they are. Almost double the jump height.
  7. I take it you mean the Hydroxx? Good choice They look so much more pimp - which is why we ride... If you're honest
  8. Was there any word on the production of this frame? I remember seeing some photo's of the proto built up - but then it just sort of fizzled out...

    32" Monitor

I know you said you've decided already - but just so you know... I've got a pair of 22" widescreens. One's a monitor, and one's a monitorTV. The TV is HD ready - and has 6 inputs. I can change from N64, to Playstation, to TV, to a secondary monitor at the flick of a switch. And I've still got two spair.
  11. 12 year olds who's parents buy them the most expensive bikes they can find. Partly because I believe you should start out on a worse bike, so you can appreciate better bikes when you NEED them, and partly because I'm jealous I couldn't/can't have a nice bike. The way that SO many people seem to just LOVE argueing (sp?). They'll post in a thread they have nothing to do with/no idea about, take it completely off-topic, and defend someone who's getting slated - usually just for the sake of it. The name changes. Other gripes of mine have already been mentioned. Edit: Revolver... Are you maybe going a little overboard with the Portal shizz-whack?
  12. Agreed. Well.... It's what all the cool kids are doing, anyway

    Tight Spot..

I notice they're all set up on the Ko... Would seem like that's the problem... Try a new BB - would be my advice

    Tight Spot..

Is your current BB bent? If it's not - getting a new on 'aint gonna do much for the tight spot - it'll just make the chain-line nicer. I've not heard of any problems with TrialTech cogs - so I'd guess the tapers/threads on the crank are a little off-square. Wouldn't of thought the hub'd be a problem with that... Much less variance. EDIT: Just re-read the original post, and it sounds like you want a narrower BB to sort the chain-line either way. Heard very good things about Truvativ Gigapipes. I've got tapers though - so I don't know too much.
  15. If only you could know how long I'm on here for. Hang on.... What.... Wait a second... I'm still able to type properly.... What the f**k?! I BROKE THE RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULES!!!!!
  16. I hate you Boumsong. Would the Giant one be Ok? I don't need it to be really sweet - but it wants to be nice enough that I don't dread riding it. Other than that - I've been advised about a Claud Butler Levante. Supposedly really good spec. value for the money. I'll look into the Specialised. Cheers.
  17. Sure it'll work Just maybe not quite as well as it could, with matching sizes. I can't see it being a big problem, to be honest.
  18. I wasn't not going to He says he can get the following: Claud Butler, Dawes, Coyote, Kona, Merridia, Specialised, And probably a few others.
  19. If you're after a blank, black screen, at the start - you need to make a black screen. Back when I used to do this ( ) I just had a file saved in my library called "black square". Make a completely black screen in MS paint, save it, and import it to the library. Drag it onto the timeline, and you can stretch/shrink it almost as much as you like... flipp@flowflys.co.uk for MSN if you want... I spent a LONG time messing with WMM, before I upgraded.
  20. £300 max, if possible. I've got a friend in a shop, who said he can get it on trade for me - which might make things a little better. I'm not after being cool - I'm after getting to work and back, fast, without having to fork out for petrol. Been doing it on a general MTB, until a month ago, when it gave up. It's f**king HORRID to ride - so I think I'll just get a new one - in a new catagory, rather than fix it up.
  21. Found this after watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv-ISen-UTQ. Been considering it for a while now - but I've been re-inspired by that video. Obviously not bunny-hops - but if you just like... hop the front wheel up a kerb, then the back - is that enough to damage roadie rims? Also - I'm 5'8"... Would I be looking at the "Medium (50cm)" or "Large (55.5cm)"? Is that measurement the length of seat-tube to headtube, or something? Or top of seat-tube to BB maybe? If anyone wants shot of their roadie - I'll probably consider taking it off you
  22. Style of riding really makes me think your bike should have a seat

    Gu Le 20" Ride

That keep at the end was intense
  24. I can't think of a worse waste of bandwidth, than this thread.
