dont use wd40 or gt85 in your hub, its bad for bearings, just wipe grease out with a cloth, use meths or white spirit to clean your rim too

should be fine, there shouldn't really be much of a gap, its fine for it to touch the frame, just keep an eye for cracks developing as if the alu is bent it will be more susceptible to cracks, i wouldnt worry though as its not a dangerous place like a headtube
