nice, but the brake looks masive cause of those crazy mounts and some new forks would be nice
  2. I dont get all this long stem crap, whatabout if you want a nice flicky street bike and you dont spend all your day doin front taps and sidehops on your 1090mm wheelbas bike because its fashionable at the moment. However i do agree about the tires

    Which Dropout?

id say mtb spacing as your hub choice is much greater, and a pro2 is better than a king anyway,
  4. if you have a king with fun bolts, a pro2 or similar you can just make your own tensioner and forget about mech hangers completly like this:
  5. my mates trailpimps came off the axle too. i always run vp cage pedals, although they may not be the best feeling pedals they last ages and only cost about £10
  6. top cup, just went to take out forks and the cup fell off too

if it wasnt in the worst colour scheme ive seen in my life would prob be ok, at least it has all the right tubes and a seat
  8. yeah, go for a pro2, theres certainly nothin better for the money, prob nothin better at all, they perform real well and as usual are easy to service and well made
  9. I was in a similar position to you about a month ago but i ended up with a minion and i have nothing but praise for it, its an excellent tire, From what i heard about hansventures they just arnt as pinch resistant as other maxxis
  10. for fast tech spinny flowing stuff get the ashton or for sidehops front touches etc grt the zenith

yeah, it is pretty balls, overpriced, and has the worst captions ive read in my life but it does a good job of gettin young kids riding so I cant really bitch, they even occasionaly have an interestin article
  12. yeah, going between my pro2 and mates eno i havnt noticed any difference really, certainly not in riding even if it feels slightly odd
  13. Nice, my mate just got one pretty similar to that, they ride mint with the lack of massive wheelbase and big bb rise
  14. The hydro ones work and feel very similar to shimano deore, they are certainly very good for the money but i dont know what it would be like when you want spares.
  15. its a tricky one, i dont know much about iolo, but curtis are certainly very good with after sales stuff, my mates street frame cracked and it was all repared and resprayed within 2 weeks
  16. looks a nice setup although I dont see why you cant gap on your curtis
  17. if you want to get hold of some ashon forks http://ridestreet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1386 as for rims there are loads, sun are amazing as are tioga dh rims and the spanks come highly recogmended if you want new forks leeson could sort you out with some pashley copies
  18. I love my heatsink blues, seem to be good balence between wear and grip (mine have never slipped) check the pad review and do a search for loads of suggestions though
  19. the skatepark is real good http://ridestreet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=994 there's also some pretty good trials stuff too
  20. that home made one may work, but i doubt the supercycles one would last, just remember disk mounts are put under huge amounts of stress on trials bikes, thats why most frames with disk mounts have a dedicated brace to spread the force
  21. bout 7ft, but then i realised drops are for gays and stopped botherin with them, too much risk of hub slippin and landin on face

    Old School

nice part from that back brake must be shocking, i tried a v without a booster and the seatstays flexed about an inch so it never had any power
  23. the riding in Trial Noir is really good and its certainly woth getting, but the editing lets it down loads, especialy on chris smiths section which just makes him look sh*t
  24. massive front hose and red grips need to go otherwise not bad
