    Barrow Farm

Just a quick edit. Went to Barrow Farm yesterday and got a bit of footage. I had only had 2 hours sleep Saturday night, so wasn't really on it. Tried to do something different with the edit, not sure if it works or not. What do you think? http://vimeo.com/27721131 Cheers, Edd
  4. Thanks for posting this! There was an advert for Chainspotting on a bmx video I had back in the day, always wanted to see it.
  5. Lee Musselwhite rides brakeless and chainless flatland. Just runs a front hub on the rear and no sprocket.

Yeah I hope it does exist. Gave a bloke on the street £50 once, said he'd pay me back, didn't really believe him. Obviously I never heard from him again. My friends rip me to this day about it, quite rightly. Looking back it was a stupid thing to do. Whatever made him so desperate for money to ask a randomer on the street I'll never know, but I'd like to think somone else might do the same for me one day if I was in need.
  7. Will be cool to see people. Come up and say Hi!

Had a fair amount of publicity now too http://cameronrose.blogspot.com/2011/07/can-you-fund-world-record-event.html http://www.theedinburghreporter.co.uk/2011/06/extreme-unicycling-world-record-attempt/ http://local.stv.tv/edinburgh-south-east/news/259450-record-breaking-attempt-in-edinburgh-by-britains-unicycling-elite/ http://innertubemap.com/blog/post/202 http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/Unicyclists39-24hr-world-record-bid.6785321.jp http://www.kimharding.net/blog/?p=1679 For more info and to donate, see our website: http://voodoounicycles.com/demo.php Thanks to everyone who donates and has already donated, its for a really good cause Cheers, Edd
  11. Mines the 2010 version of their single speed track bike http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/31187/Create_SingleSpeed_Track_Bike_2010 I've changed the tyres to 38mm wide and its a lot nicer to ride on the road and off road now. Was fast as f**k with the original 23mm ones though! Agree with above though, If I could go back in time, I'd get the Maurice or a Charge.
  12. I've got a Create and its been fine. It does look cheap, especially the frame, but i've been using it for offroading in the woods including jumping and its still ok. to be honest, I don't think they deserve the bad rep they've got. The people I've heard saying they're shit are the London courier types, which in their case they probably are shit because they're doing miles and miles everyday. Maybe I've just been lucky though
  13. The page is now setup on our website http://voodoounicycles.com/demo.php Thanks to anyone who has already donated
  14. Haha, never thought I'd see one of my videos reposted on TF Trials is whatever you want it to be, so is any other hobby you're into. We wanted to do a roadtrip comp like King of the Road/Ride to Glory, so we did. Anyone can do it, just pick what you want to do and start planning! I love our local trials scene (Bedford/MK area). Tons of cool riders and theres always loads of banter and fun on the rides. Trials is far from dead!
  15. Hi Guys, Wasn't quite sure where to put this, thought this was the best place. We are doing a 24 hour demo for charity. We'll be demoing from 12pm on Saturday 30th July until 12pm on Sunday 31st July at 'The Mound' in Edinburgh. All money raised will go towards childrens charity UNICEF. UNICEF is working in over 190 countries to protect children's right to be educated, to be healthy, to a childhood, to be treated fairly and to be heard. They work with local communities, partners and governments to ensure these rights are upheld. Heres a newspaper article: http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/Unicyclists39-24hr-world-record-bid.6785321.jp To donate, go to our JustGiving page: http://www.justgiving.com/voodoounicycles24hours More info will be on our website asap. www.voodoounicycles.com Thanks to everyone that donates Heres a bonus video, enjoy! 17. Wow. That fall was shocking to watch Makes you realise that no matter how proficient you think you are on a bike, we're not invincible. Get well soon Chris!
  18. Is Dave on here? I was talking to him at the weekend about 24s and stems but I can't remember what stem he said he had :$ His Leeson feels lush to ride!
  19. Maybe they were Irish?
  20. Its a great event and I did enjoy myself. Big up all involved in organising it. The only dampener was the security for me. How over the top were they!?!? We got woken up by them at 9am on Sunday morning pretty much letting themselves into our tent with a camera trying to work out if it was us they had photographed the night before! Not happy about that if im honest! I also thought the fire in the bucket was an 'official' one and was perfectly safe. As said already, if security weren't happy with it why the hell didn't they come and tell us at the time? Its a shame people got kicked out when it wasn't them. For what its worth, the photos I saw were definitely not Simps or anyone from that camp. The noise (what noise?) didn't bother me either, I was probably comatose in my tent though Hopfully if there is another one it'll be a bit more like last years, and my car won't break down
  21. Just packed the car. 3 people, all our gear for 3 days camping, a mod, 24" bike and a unicycle in a 998cc Metro See you tomorrow guys
  22. Hahaha Sam! I can't beleive you asked this on the forum! I was winding you up!
  23. Hey everyone, I know loads of you think unicycling is gay, sorry about that! I though some people might enjoy these vids we did recently though. We recently held a Competition called King Of The Road. We got the idea from Thrasher skate magazine. In short, teams of riders roadtrip and complete challenges given to them on a list. Each challenge is worth a different number of points, the team with the most points wins. There was a riding event on up north, so we based it around the weekend that it was on. 4 teams took part, here are the videos in place order starting from 4th place. Team Nosh - 4th Place Riders: Simon Berry Mike Taylor Emily Johnson Alister Burt Jake Bulmer Claire Wood Team 1up - 3rd Place I've got to mention here that little Cameron pretty much did this single handedly. There were 4 other people on his team, but they didn't do anything! Riders: Cameron Peac**k and 4 other guys who didn't bother. The Bosses - 2nd Place My team! Riders: Edd Hawkes Sam Goodburn Matt Wood Mike Swarbrick Joe Sidebotham The Peoples Champions - 1st Place Riders: Jason Auld Joe Baxter Iain Schofield Rebecca Johnson If you enjoyed that lot, theres loads more where they came from. We constantly update our facebook page, become a fan to get news, videos and banter: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Voodoo-Unicycles/223313725448 Also check out our new website, content added regularly. New Voodoo Unicycles Website Enjoy! Cheers, Edd
  24. Sweet video! I rode chainless for a couple of weeks when I snapped my chain once, was good fun. Flatlander Lee Musselwhite rides chainless too, nutter!
