  1. Cheers guys, glad you enjoyed it Last year was a mental one. We're really stepping it up for this year though! Loads more where that came from, we're on Facebook and Twitter (@voodoounicycles), so if you like banter, give us a like and a follow Thanks!
  2. I know its not strictly trials, but there is a bit of trials unicycling in it and I know some of you enjoy our videos, so I hope this is ok I finished editing our end of year video last night. Its taken me ages, I ran out of enthusiasm half way through but soldiered on and got it done. We did so much last year. The first ever King of the Road competition in Unicycling history, The 24 hour non-stop Extreme Unicycling display for UNICEF in Edinburgh, an appearance on the CBBC show "The Slammer", Mountain Unicycling trips to France, demonstrations up and down the UK and tons more! Hope you enjoy Edd
  3. Cool vid Dan! I always loved your smooth style on the Monty. It rode lush too!
  4. Thanks so much! I would love to compete, Don't know who I would compete against though I do have my own public liability insurance if thats an issue.
  5. Is there any way I'd be allowed to ride the sections on my unicycle? Even if I didn't compete?
  6. Love his balls out, full speed approach to riding! Most enjoyable bmx vid I've seen in a while
  7. I'll be there representing unicycle trials
  8. Im a serial lurker on this thread, but reading through Ben and JD's posts reminded me how I felt when I broke up with my fiancée of 7 years. That was almost 3 years ago now, the pain has almost gone. That feeling of being totally and utterly consumed by your emotions is horrible, and no matter what I did I just couldn't get her out of my head. My advice would be to just leave it. No matter how hard that might seem. We tried to work things out several times and it would always go round in one massive loop and we'd end up at exactly the same conclusion. Shes a lesbian now (Go on, laugh, its ok) and is living with her girlfriend, and that is hard to cope with. I hardly see her anymore, which suits me just fine. Im single again and loving it, so hang in there! This. That first summer after breaking up with her, I rode more than I ever have and it was the best thing I could have done. The MK trials boys helped me through the toughest time of my life (although they don't know it, just riding was enough to keep my mind off her) and for that I love those guys. /gay
  9. 2 mods, a 24", a unicycle and a weekends worth of camping stuff/beer + 3 people in a Mk1 Metro to Tartydays. and 5 people, 7 unicycles and all our shit for a week long roadtrip. We had to have all the seats up to fit everyone in so we had to get everything in the boot.
  10. Just realised Christmas eve is actually on Saturday. In!
  11. Same as Dan, Im working They normally let us off early christmas eve though, so I'll join you if I finish early enough.
  12. I can't believe you lot are bitching about his spelling and no-one has given him any advice about getting sponsored yet! Heres a step-by-step guide: Step 1. Help 50 old ladies cross the road. (Has to be 50, not 49, not 50.5) Step 2. Climb Everest naked Step 3. Race Chuck Norris and win Step 4. Tame a tiger Step 5. Get struck by lightning Step 6. Shag Beyonce Step 7. Sidehop a 100" curb Step 8. Count to infinity Step 9. Base jump into the Grand Canyon. Without a parachute, they're for pussies. Step 10. Touch the sun. Thats it! Basically its easy when you know how I know this because my nans friends, dogs, daughters, ex-boyfriend is gay and he told me. Im not sponsored because I haven't been struck by lightning yet
  13. Another vote for Vegas if you don't mind underhand tactics to get it I used to think the same as you but struggled on with it and I'm so glad I did. Its so much easier than Premier I thought.
  14. Doing that...on pallets....in the snow. Boy needs his head testing! Edit: That came out completely wrong. Its f**king awesome!
  15. Hi everyone, Not bikes I know, but it is trials, so some of you might be interested. We're holding the UK Trials and Street champs in December. Spectators are welcome and we'll be running workshops on the Sunday for anyone that wants to have a go Cheers, Edd
  16. Thats amazing, cheers mate. I know the areas not huge, but hopefully we can learn at this spot and if/when we out grow it, we'll know what we're doing at the next one. I've got some ideas of what I would like to build, so I think its just a matter of going down there and planning stuff out before we start digging. I haven't done much dirt riding, so I like the idea of small jumps first. Thanks for all the advice, really useful
  17. I don't know how many people ride bmx on here, but I thought I might get the best replys from TF. As digging season has just started and I have never dug a decent set of trails in 14 years of riding bmx, I thought I'd try and start some in my local area. I've got together with a few of the locals and we've found a spot which we think will serve us nicely. Its in a hollow in a small wooded area. I've been informed that its private land, so the council can't plough them. Theres some fly tipping at one end that looks like its been there for ages, so hopefully the landowner never visits/doesn't care. Im coming into this literally clueless and wondered if anyone could offer some advice. I've been down there and had a look, and I don't even know where to start or how to even begin planning anything. Heres a crappy phone picture of the spot. Any one build/maintain any trails that can off tips or advice to a total beginner? Cheers, Edd
  18. Browsing through Facebookthis morning, fairly disappointed with the lack of halloween sluts This is the best I could find. Old mate from school, shes now a stripper or something.
  19. Theres no such thing as cheap van rental if you're under 25. I had to hire a van to haul the Voodoo Unicycles rig around before I got a car big enough to fit it in. None of the big name hirers would touch me, I had to find a local independent hire company and get friendly with the owner. Even then it was £75 per day for a standard transit van plus £9.50 per day insurance.
  20. I rode a bamboo bike at the cycle show this weekend just gone. It was built up with suspension forks as an xc rig. Felt quite nice to ride, pretty light and soaked up the bumps nicely.
  21. Just watched this. Amazingly powerful, So sad Thanks for posting. Edit to add something useful to the thread: I found all the Ross Kemp on gangs to be really good!

    Fail

That made me LOL! I don't get this either. So its just a place where you can live a virtual life and waste your real one?
  23. Went camping with a load of mates a few months back. Theres one lad, sound as but a bit of a mummys boy. We packed a cigar full of weed and were passing it round. Everyone was really surprised when someone offered it to him and he took it and started smoking it. If he'd known there was weed in it he would never have taken it and everyone else knew that, so people kept passing it to him. He must have ended up smoking at least half of it. Best thing was in the morning. He gave me a lift home and as we were driving along he said to me, "I only had about 4 beers last night but I was well chillin'!" I almost choked on my bottle of water. We still haven't told him

    Jobs!

Sorry if this is going off topics, but how does that work? Sounds interesting Im a Design Technician for a small company that manufactures railway signalling equipment. Pros: Interesting when you get to go out on site. You get to go places you aren't normally supposed to be, did some testing in a disused tunnel at kings cross which was cool as f**k. Nice when the weathers bad and you're sipping a nice hot coffee in the office The company is small so I pretty much get run of the office Cons: Lots of boring paperwork. I get lumbered with jobcards and other admin crap thats not my job because we're a small company and theres no one else to do it. Stuck in an office in front of the computer 99.9% of the time. Doesn't look like I'll ever get a promotion or any decent payrise The boss is a fanny Having said all that, im thinking of a major career change too. I'll have to move back with my parents which sucks major balls, but Im going to go back to college and do media/film production. I've lost interest in engineering and would much rather study something that interests me.
