Pc Problem.....my Comp Keeps Typing Shit..
Extreme_biker0 replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Chit Chat
A friend I know had this once, years ago. I tried and failed to get rid of it. Re install. -
Hydro thunder was a f**king awesome game.

Aw sorry man I didn't mean it. Don't sweat it too much; you'll have plenty of oportunities to embarrass yourself with the santa jokes in your santa hat. Christmas time is above all, a time for pulling with inuendo's about santa emptying his sack, girls being naughty, etc and so forth.

Do you have a hot sister/mum?
-
No open wi-fi's in the area? I trust you checked
-
I for one wouldn't. I'm too scared and introverted, especially when girls are involved, to strike up conversations with jokes. I mean, what if they don't laugh? End. Of. World. Edit: No actually yeah, you should. She was probably your future wife, and the only girl you would ever have found true love with. D'oh!

You wont get escorted home for using this.

That site is awesome.

Do that around here and they'll chuck a firework at you. And that's just the under 10's.

So? They're not charging you interest (over inflation) on your student loan so why not just leave that £6k you have (assuming your original loan was 12k) in a tracker fund for 18 years. Assuming the last 15 years reflect the next 18 years, you can expect about a 10% return on your investment per year. total return: 18 x 1.1^18 = 556% 5.56 x your £6,000 = ~£33,500 In todays money, assuming 3% inflation, that's £19,677. I didn't take into account any fees, which are usually about 1%, which effectively makes the ROI 9& not 10%, but i can't be bothered to do the calculation again. Est £15k. In other words, you can use that money to make sure that kid you've got on the way doesn't have to get a student loan at all. And if they don't want to go to uni... well, you got yourself a nice new car

Haha. Worse than that mate, the pictures were probably worked on by a guy on a computer. A guy on a computer made you orgasm.

Might be hitting the town in fancy dress dispite having a shitty cold. The scariest trick or treaters are the chav's who don't dress up one little bit. It's the way they manage to so clearly imply that 'if you don't give them money they'll brick your windows' in the way they say 'trick or treat'.

I find mind over matter a hard concept to appreciate. We're all made of atoms and molecules which are govorned by the laws of physics. Our minds are simply a result of this, and cannot change it. For example if I were to walk on hot coals; I cannot stop the carbon in my foot-cells from combusting and forming carbon di-oxide by just thinking about it. Correct me if I'm overlooking something but that's how I see it... Although i'm not totally discrediting thi-chi, since the mental and physical benafits of meditation are actually measurable (news items exist ont t'into here and there). It's just the whole 'mind over matter' thing i'm pretty weary of.

It's a good idea to clear any loans (other than the govornment student loans) as soon as possible because: - They affect your credit rating so your mortgage offers will be affected. How much they are affected depends on the loan covornance (sp?) so it may not be much but it could be a lot. - ANY loan, including govornment ones, will add interest to account for the 'time value of money' ala inflation. At the minute, even on an 'interest free' loan, this will be about 3.2%. Now, if you have that money in a savings account, you could earn interest at 5%. But you have to pay tax on that interest (with the exception of ISA's) at 20%, so you only end up receiving 80%. Eighty percent of five percent is 4%. This means that, adjusted for inflation, you get richer by 0.8% per year of what you have saved (£8 for every £1,000 saved). I would say that it's not worth it, but inflation does vary. Don't get me wrong though, it's good to have money in savings accounts, just not offset against loan accounts, since it should be everyones priority to get out of debt. Compound interest adds up. Just make sure it's in your favor

Anyone tried firefox 2? Any big changes?

Tis the truth, unfortunately. But with one big exception, IMO, and that is friends. I've got loads of friends, but my closest couple of friends are well educated like-minded people who I can rely on. I do stuff for them (one of them owns a bouncy castle business, I do his accounts) and they do stuff for me (esp the one who's a pilot, can't wait till he gets his full licence!). As well as the importance of close friends out of work though, it's good to have friends in work. So many people get promoted etc for being friends with other people, esp in my line of work, and i'm pretty sure its the same elsewhere. You may get employed in 10 years time by a person you met in your first job for example. Overall though the job thing is easy, although you'll quickly realise just how much you actually owe, in work terms. Most people I know owe approximately a full years full time work. So if they worked for a full year and didn't spend a penny, they'd be done, but as it turns out, you need most of your salary just to get by! Finding a girl who you really like and want to spend a long time with is difficult, but I don't worry about that for now, still young yet My 2p Edit: What made you decide to rent rather than take on a mortgage, out of interest? I would consider renting money down the drain as you're not paying anything off. Obviously you have your reasons, what are they?

Ha! I can see you've got it in for me! No, in both methods, albiet in a different manor (one safe mode one not) you are accessing the computer using the administrator accout, a normally hidden account, which *sometimes* does not have a password on it. If one method didn't work, neither would the other. If one did, both would. Same principle applies. Oh, and :$ busted on the edit!

D'accord, that is the issue at hand, but it's also important, very important, that people know the reasons why the poor guy is in this state, so that we have less occurences of these threads. It's because someone drove like an idiot. This is a plain and simple fact, that if everyone were to appreciate, we'd have less of these threads. Posts like krisboats are plain wrong, and encourange stupid driving. He says his mate's a Rally driver, which is an excuse to drive this way. How wrong can you get? Again, I hope the guy recovers fully and in good time.
-
As long as you drive like you've taken one (not pills literally, obviously) i don't give a shit!
-
Yes there is, there are no cars with familys in going around a track. Or if there is, they know the risks of being there, as do you. When will you f**ktards learn that the roads are NOT equal to a racetrack? I cannot believe you said that you dumb f**k! That's what they all think, idiot. Let me tell you something that may surprise you, dumbass, all the retards that injur themselves, their friends, and people they don't know because they are driving too fast think they are capable of driving at those speeds. None of them expect to get seriously injured/die. That's why it happens. I hope this guy gets better, but the driver deserves to feel guilty for the rest of his life.

Pound a pint in Walkabout on a Tuesday night in Doncaster It says it's Carling, but I doubt that very much, even going by taste alone.
-
But neither will it make the problem worse, as you suggested it would.
-
It doesn't in other countries.
