Yeah I'd either spray them or not bother... Probably the latter. They are M10 x 35 bolts, but you'll want either ti or steel and I've not seen a green ti or steel bolt, ever I don't think.
Each comp is different so its impossible to explain exactly what will come up, but I agree with Dave there are always little annoying bits that are difficult to over come even though they're not big moves. If you're a street rider you'll be thinking 'well I will just be able to sidehop over it so it doesn't matter' but it doesn't work like that.
Hello all, there are a few vids uploaded to my gallery http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/gallery/member/1123-nwood/ that I fancy watching (from like 8 years ago ) and the thumbnails are correct, but it just comes up with a black screen?
Is this my sub-standard computer / updates / user error or are they lost forever?
Thanks!
EDIT: Turns out vids from other users are the same and I get the black screen?
Thanks!
Imma jack it up at some point and see if there is any / much play in it.
Will also try and bribe the local mechainic into doing it before sat, fingers crossed.
My front passenger wheel bearing is whining - Am I gonna die if I continue to drive it? I have booked it in for Tuesday, but have to drive from Devon to Shropshire and back at the weekend... Will I die in a fireball of bearing and my own faeces?
The more threads that can be eradicated from trials bikes the better.
I've stripped freewheel to crank threads, hub to cog threads and bb threads, all fitted from the factory and a couple of times from just taking off the item.
Wouldn't work... You could probably tap the existing axle to accomodate bolts though. Wether they;d be big / strong enough to make it not slip is another kettle of coffee though, as the saying goes.
Two things...
1. Who gives a shit if us chumps on the internet don't like it? Its your car, you've said you think it looks great so what is there to worry about?
2. You've said you think it looks great, which sorta opens the door for comments?
I'm 100% sure Pashley26 will pipe up about this but in the meantime I believe my transfer fee was £80, I went to the DVLA office with all my paperwork (insurance, tax, V5 etc) and they did it there and then.
Its also about dealing with slippery surfaces / not having enough room to do what you want / having to do opposite sidehops / uphill or bumpy run ups / avoiding obstacles within run ups / hopping accurately onto a thin root or rock / and the main thing is the endurance.
