  1. No worries, I'll cehck through my email tomorrow, and get some designs ran up by tomorrow night....sound okie?
  2. Done it....works great Got this set-up on the front of the coust, hammered it all day today and no issues what soever. Simply file the top part of the mount down until you don't need the plastic washer...keep testing them together
  3. Okay well drop me the designs and ill see what I can do tomorrow It certainly would....email me what you be wanting alexdark2(at)hotmail.co.uk
  4. Well Done good choice my man
  5. Should have stuck with the Cousts Ermmm...maybe a sharper lighter grind
  6. Really does matter...even on street I wouldn't sacrifice grip for weight any-day.
  7. Those BB's are pretty much disposable items unfortunately... I recommend getting a Shimano UN52 or UN72 if you can find one. Sure it's the BB?
  8. New front stock tyre is ridiculous money...the old one was quite a lot but this is ridiculous. Fek all tread too! But is it anywhere near as grippy?
  9. Used to have one...they work fine is all i can say, didn't feel hugely heavy.
  10. I certainly can...even have an RB booster ready made for the occasion email me with a sketch of what you want, like a picture roughly edited...what font you want, and if you want holes or just recesses etc and ill model something, and send it back your way shortly.

Truth.... You seem to be out on a mission to get one...so try it They're hardly the worst bikes out there after all. 125 x 25 with stackers maybe?
  12. That would be fine dude, I can make them to pretty much any spec...even out of brass if you want ermmm maybe a drilled Trialtech sport style?
  13. Spray the rear rim white....and sort out the frame paintjob Powdercoating is a waste of money I reckons.....you'll get bored of that frame eventually, and the £30 or so powdercoating won't be worth the money you get back on it. Just rattlecan her
  14. Yup ran one on my pitbull for yonks like that... Be better than new..stronger
  15. DO NOT DO IT....the welding will massively weaken the frame if you don't later get it heat treated back to the original U6/ T6 temper. In short, leave the frame as she is, or buy one that has bash mounts.

Felt similar to the a1 long high bb...didn't think it was that similar to the GU for some reason though? Blatantly bar and stem combo define it though....
  17. Meaning he prefers rim brakes over anything~? God knows.... For light weight: try-all hole front ri, Onza pro diamond rear Average use: Trialtech square hole rim, Trialtech rear Heavy bashing: Echo TR front and rear
  18. Bionic python copy.. £48 from BTS...to buy a similar frame over here, think Zona Zip probably £150 odd? British economy for you...weak pound and high import tax
  19. I can make some spacers on the lathe if you really need them...and bolts can easily be bought off ebay so if lots of people want them and can pay a tiny bit extra I could supply bolts too
  20. Der Kaiser saved me 103grams....every other knobble off.
  21. Yup, although it won't be a round-bottomed scoop...more like how you'd mill something? Like with a flat bottom. There are some pretty funky designs you can use though....like the Try-all symetrik bash?
  22. Yup, or i can just make youa very simple one from some blanks I have... haha well whatever you want And OBM, sorry if this is classed as advertising, but I'm hardly large scale If you want to move me to FS then fair enough...
  23. Heyho...with the aftermath of mine and other peoples projects I've managed to secure a fair amount of 6082 T6 plate....one of the toughest alloys out there. I have access to a CNC router, so can cut pretty much any design onto a bashring or booster of your choice. £12 posted to your door Maybe bike brand? Nickname? Real name.....logo...whatever really as long as i can plot it you can have it on there Accuracy to 1/100th of a millimetre Brushed or raw aluminium finish High-grade aluminium Any design ( as long as it's not massive or silly intricate ) I need any orders in by Sunday night at the latest, and my supplies are limited so get in quick for extremely cheap custom parts. If anything else needs making like...i don't know, a 2d stem cap or snail-cams I'm sure we can work something out. Moneys off for bulk orders, free postage too. I don't currently have any pictures of my work, although most people that have looked at my topics on the project bike should be able to see the amount of time and care that has gone into the construction of that. This merely an exercise to re-coup some costs from the project itself, not me being greedy Please email or MSN me at alexdark2 ( at ) hotmail (dot ) co (dot ) uk Cheers
