Bald tyres never really seem to be any better...simply as good at best.
I run a bald try-all stiky front tyre ( evyer other knobble off ) and a Continental Der Kaiser ( black chilli, every other knobble removed ). Great combo....very grippy, reasonably light too.

they sure can...anything you want really, bearing in min dthe monty's i think are designed to be ran with cams on the outside of the drop-out.
For example, my friend has an Echo control 07, Viz rear hub, mutiny spokes and an Echo 07 rear rim.
Harder to get hubs....pre-built wheels are non-existent....harder to sell....cannot use standard pro2's / Kings ( although you can chat and mill down a poo2, or use a BMX king )
Not really that bad to be honest....135 horizontal is as good if not better in my humble opinion though.
The Boxx had a slacker head angle, longer wheelbase and longer stays....so the only common thing was the BB height. ( pkus the boxx didn't ride all that amazingly in my opinion anyway )
VERY short...my Coust is short at 378, no idea of the reach...at a guess probably 655 or so though as the one I went on felt quite cramped.
Nah they seem fine if you're smooth....if you've ever ran a try-all double wall and haven't flatspotted it, dented it badly or buckled it I reckon you'll be fine on a Singlewall. Once funds increase I want an Onza pro - Diamond.
Rockman singlewall on Rockman BUB hub...front
Onza pro Diamond / Trialtech double wall ( depending on how bashy you are ) with rockman BUB hub
Plain gauge spokes, 3x front and rear and you're sorted
