Level 35 getting up the cylinder facing upwards is really annoying me. I've tried it with an upwards pedal hop and the upwards kick hop from various distances but cant get it, always fall down inside and die quickly. Any advice? Just want to complete the game! Cheers, Phil ps. Also how do you hook on it?

Awesome stuff. Riding was mint, soundtrack was good for the style and timed in well. I wouldn't have necersarrily used the same first clip as I reacon its not the best riding in the vid. Phil

Ok cheers for the information. What I mainly need to know is does the process finish with a varnishing or finish with a light rubbing down? Phil

Personally I've never had a bike nicked because its either under my legs or in my garage but: What really pisses me off is the fact that as far as I've heard the police are less vigilant/bothered about bikes when some are worth as much as car (in this case atleast) yet they have massive operations for finding stolen cars. I know its a completely different scale as only a handful of very expensive bikes are stolen in comparison to cars but its still ridiculous if no action is being taken. Phil

Just go with the flow. If you like gonig right keep it up just be prepared for spending abit of money/time on mechs and stuff. Arguabley left would be better but if you hop to the right and you've got it reasonable no point starting from square one going left. If you haven't got them too good either way might be worth trying left hops. To try left just keep at it, start small and build up. Phil

I'm not great at tapping but I find when im going for a pedal hop I sometimes tap by accident and it really helps push me up. Tapping is definetly a skill to master. Bunnyhopping to backwheel is also an option to get more height. Put some pace towards the wall and pull up as hard as you can, throw the front up, preferable tapping it, and just let your weight throw you up. Phil

Middleburns ....... you know it's right! Phil

Well said ^ Comitment is key. Sometimes I just don't feel like sidehopping something. But once I gather the balls to do it once then I know its fine. It doesn't matter that i've stacked/bailed, once I've tried I feel relaxed because I know I can try again and again. The first effort is always the worst I find. Just a thought Phil ps I know how you feel about mental blocks. Yesterday it took about 15 goes getting on the back wheel just to sidehop a wall im completely capable of doing with ease. When I actually went for it cleared it by miles. Just gotta bring out the balls sometimes. (eg not like I did)

I have a T-Rex and a fat echo control booster. Worth a try! Cheers,Phil I have tried setting it up a fair few times. Phil Ah I see, good stuff. Haven't tried the water approach (thought that was jsut for disks) Well I rode yesterday and I put a good 3/4 hours tonight. They are still fairly grippy but on the very edge of logs move a tiny bit. Nothing too bad jsut not feeling the bite. I do feel a sligh improvement since yesterday. Phil Ah fair doos. I suppose its only been about 6/7 hours of riding with the new pads. I'll start adding water and see what happens in time. Phil

Waste of time even thinking that in depth about it. Anyway, stupidly high, looked sketch and what a comedy weird reaction. Phil

They were worn down quite alot and besides they were complete cack before I ordered the new pads. It was just since I got a new bleed that they got nice and the positioning was spot on. I just rode for half an hour. Was hitting the highest peddle hop/occasional tap I have ever done, kept landing on the edge and very slighlty slipping. So I put the pads closer but what im finding is that only one piston is moving that well as well as them having not much bite and this is the reason I keep having to re-set the pads. Rather Annoying. I'll give them a couple of days and see what happens. Phil

Well said. And 'Alley Rat' I really don't see your objective. I for one don't care what you think about grammar, why are you telling us this? Why are your wasting our time? Why are you filling up forum capacity with pointless gabble? Came down hard Phil

Fitted some of Ali C's Joy pads last night. Went out for a little 5 minute sesh on the curbs. The power was good and it wasn't slipping at all but it had no bite atall. Whereas where I had red onza pads I had immense bite and as I pulled in the lever it just stopped dead and I could really feel the brake biting now its just mushy and nasty. I've got a medium/light grinded rim which isn't particularly sharp but with the onza pads were working beasty. Like I said it isn't slipping one bit just doesn't feel nice to hold. I'm going to try setting the brake up a couple more times. I mgiht try white spirit then methelated spirit etc to clean the rim. What else? Do they need bedding in time? Phil
