  1. Nah not atall, just put some layers on and its just the same. My whole body was steaming tonight riding, apparently was minus something and I was sweating like a beast. Once your warm its all the same really. Must admit the rain is abit crap but in the end will help you improve getting to grip with adverse conditions for comps and stuff. Is hassley though. Phil
  2. (Spot* you have sport) Have to hit up 'Hook Woods' at some point, down in the south-east near Woking. Absolutely awesome place to ride, nationals held there recently. Phil

    My New Vid!

Really enjoyed that. Awesome riding, you like kicking to back, they were huge! Phil
  4. To the first one..... I think thats why little kids shouldn't try big drops before they have any technique. Seen a fair few vids of beginners who can just about kickhop doing big drops with no skill or control, maybe this is a warning. Second is just harsh though! Phil
  5. Riding was incredible, everything is just so so smooth. Sidehops were huuuge. First song was actually sickening, very very bad. Phil
  6. Where is that magical place? is it portsmouth? Cheers, Phil
  7. He's not claiming in all cases it will snap the forks but it is substancially more likely to. Besides 180 on a mod is abit of overkill. Stronger & safer (to hit) & lighter to go for 160. Phil
  8. If the bike lives if the garage your laughing, straight water bleed won't freeze. (in my experience) Phil
  9. Personally I'm running a Magura Marta hydro disc, getting on well with it. Hope mono's are very nice if set up well and the avid bb7 (cable) is popular choice. Phil

    Earthed 5

Really didn't enjoy that trailer personally, think they could do so much more, doesn't build up to anything. Phil
  11. I'm confused because I'm preety sure I got my Middleburns (22t) before I snapped my factory BB so I'm preety definite it does fit on. But anyway now on my T-Rex im running the 127.5mm Echo/VP BB and I can garuntee its long enough. Echo/VP BB Phil Don't do that! 22 - 18 is the best setup for a T-Rex in my opinion.
  12. Cheers man! Thats the one! Such a classic video. nice one, Phil
  13. Nah thats not it im afraid. Allthough that is an awesome vid. The one im talking about doesn't actually have Marco in. Phil
  14. Get a piece of crap dmr tensioner (the classic ones) cut the wheel up abit to make space for your chain then use zip ties to tension it upwards - job done! And practically everyone has owned a dmr tensioner at some point in their riding careers so quite easy to get hold of on the cheap. Phil
  15. Anyone? You wouldn't forget the vid, really smooth riders, gap from tabletennis table to wooden sign thing is preety memorable. Any help would be appreciated, Phil
  16. Basically the video I think is of a load of german riders some stock and some mod going to ride all Marco's spots in Brunschweig, they are awesome riders. Anyone got a link to it? Cheers, Phil
  17. Yup its Dan Beaven He's a good guy Phil
  18. That Rick guy is absolutely awesome! The sidehop on the first vid is huge and he did it with such ease. Not surprised he's 8th! Phil
  19. Don't got anywhere near it! What you want is 'Battlefield 2', basically counter strike with better graphics, larger maps, loads of vehicles and better gameplay Best Multiplayer PC game out there. Phil
  20. Onto the rail at 2.15 is absolutely ridiculous! Phil
  21. What were the course organisers thinking? Its good to see riders pushed to their limits like on the stages at the bike show in london this year BUT to watch people dab absolutely everything is not exactly entertaining for the crowd as opposed to slightly easier sections that more riders would have got through with alot better show-man-ship. Phil
  22. Not atall, I've had mine for a couple of months now, maybe 4 and if its got stiff links I certainly don't know about them! Only really get stiff links where you split and put together the chain but you can ease them out. Phil
  23. P.s when you have sorted out the single speed seriously consider getting a new meaty chain if you have the dosh (KHE collapse/KMC Kool etc), your current one looks deadly. Phil
  24. KHE then never worry again. Done Phil
  25. Was there on the saturday too. The standard of riding was awesome. The speed of Ben Slinger on the last speed trial was literally ridiculous! Good stuff Phil
