Absolutely awesome vid! Allthough,IMO I really think whoever made that website should be slapped! Absolutely shocking. Phil

Ronnies are legendary. Besides 6 - 7 grinds will last you forever! Unless you like to keep them really really sharp. Phil

The key to is is being as high as you can, have the bars right in and the bike at a preety vertical angle. This gives you alot more control than if the front is low and your ass is sticking out. When you have this vertical position slightly rurn the handlebars in the direction you want to go. Things like this just come with time, keep riding and you'll have it in no time. Phil

Awesome vid. From there I checked out your promo (remember seeing it a few months ago but lost it) its absolute quality. I ride a T-Rex too With the right spec T-Rex's can be as good as any bike I reacon. Phil

CARLING good old hobo's drink But does the job. Phil

Funfanu is a move where you hop up onto something at a slight angle and then hop back the way you came but spin out 180 degrees round and ride out. (similar to an abubaca but with a spin) It isn't a trials move and is preety shoddy unless done huge by Bmx'ers. That is unlucky man. Phil

Get a girlfriend..... Phil

Ermm On the Flat I can 270 hop but only get just over 180 spinning on the front wheel. Phil

Firstly its not about what looks good - irrelevant. Tar can be good but can be annoying. I used to use tar on both brakes and it worked awesome UNTIL there was even abit of moisture on the rim. Getting Tar wet turns it into sludgy crap and you'll wish you hadn't put any on. I now have a grind on the back so no need for the tar and it holds up very well even with crappy pads (joy pads in the post) and a xtr v on the front which seems to hold its own without tar . In the summer when its hot everyday Tar is good stuff but then again you have to keep-re applying when its easier to just have a grind. In the summer im going to probably use a very light layer of tar as it adds extra bite to the brake. In conclusion Tar in Dry - works well, adds abit of bite to the brake Tar in Wet - Absolute crap, your gonig to fall on your back Grind whenever - All good! Phil

If you can't bend down to get things off the floor because your glands feel like they are being ripped out and all your muscles ache and you get a headache from walking up a couple flights of stairs then riding is not the way forward man! Its savage and the worst thing is im barely ever ill, took my first day of school in over 5 years on tuesday.... and now this! Ontop I've bust 2 maggy leavers in a couple of weeks so im stuck for that atm. Phil

Cheers for all the replies guys. Looks like a technique I've got to explore and practise and now I've got a better idea how to. What is absolute sh!t is the fact I have a virus and won't be riding for 2 weeks or something ridiculous. Phil

Ha 3 sets of forks - extreme! But anyway, on pinch gaps as soon as you get the 'ping' off the ledge do you throw your weight straight up? Phil
-
Allrite Cheers guys. I'll practise as soon as I get my lever sorted And good stuff - I'll check out some of those riders. It definetly does look like a more effective way of gapping. Phil

If he likes the feel of the bike don't change anything. Its not about how it looks or what other people think its about how it rides. 'If it ain't broke (or is going to break easily sending you too your death) then don't fix it' Phil

A flat gap I can do 6 foot all effort put in. Im trying to make this bigger and have been studying some videos. If I'm taking off wall for a gap I'll be atleast a couple inches back when im in the position before I kick however looking at some awesome riders (especially noticed this with Marko Blau) people are taking off from the very very edge. When I imagine taking off from the very edge it always seems as if the rider would plumet downwards yet they seem to be able to convert the power upwards. Any advice or thoughts? Phil

Yeh that is preety gay! I'd say either ruin him about something else eg Girls or Just try and ignore ihm until he discovers he's not proving anytihng. My main buddy I ride with, I never compare with and never really have. We are both better at different techniques. Just annoying when people say 'whose better out of you?' Phil

You can just shorten the cable, fit it again and get re bled seeing as it must have split right at the end........ Phil

Shins + Pedals Knees + stem Back/cocksix + floor and pulling muscles in the lower back. Reacon are the most common. Phil

Not necersarry in my opinion. Your shin looks bad but not tooo bad. They are abit hassley and just extra money that could be spent on parts Football shin pads can do the job too. (obviously not if your wearing shorts - look like a gimp) Having said that I did wear hench 661 pads for 2 days after I did this: I shinned myself bad but thought I may aswell keep riding, then did the other! He should pay for it but...one part of the bench cannot cost £100! It's a long piece of wood fastened down, he didn't destroy the whole thing. And dissproportionate isn't exactly that tricky Phil
-
For the record its a red stripe I agree got 2.5 on the front which isn't exactly necersarry. I'll check out the Tioga. About bars... Im thinknig maybe Zoo! Risers, what you think? Phil

That is so sh*t. I know sometimes it can't be helped like your incident but you have got to try and ride as clean as possible. And be crafty about where and when you ride if you think things are liable to happen. I wouldn't dream of riding if I saw a policeman, even if I was riding an unbreakable wall and I don't think im doing anything wrong others may disagree. For this reason I jump off my bike and casually chat with my mates. I think the £100 fine is absolutely ridiculous and completely dissproportionate to the crime you committed. Allthough it was an accident the fact reamins you shouldn't of been riding the bench in the first place so it is classed as a 'crime'. In the crazy world we live its possible to get ASBO's and other anti social things for riding, I know one person on the forum has. I know its all a load of sh*t but thats the law, the only thing you can do is be as careful as you can. I personally have never had any trouble. Maybe just the wrong place and the wrong time? Out of interest how did you get caught? Phiil

Looks nice dude, black and silver works well. Only thing I'd say is some time you may want to invest in a better chain tensioner or chuck an old derailer on, those dmr move alot. Phil

Was good stuff! You guys like your wheelswitches on rails over there! Out of interest what is it the guy says at the start? Phil
