  1. You think thats bad? I snapped my stem clean in two today gapping. Was complete comedy. Sram pc50 is the way to go on chains in my opinion. Mine has treated me very well. Got it when was using gears, when I converted kept it and has beren reliable as however had a couple of stiff links.
  2. Was riding abit of park when some 3ft 1 chav, looked about 11 said 'This isn't a trials park twat' I wasnt sure I heard what he was saying so I said 'Are you talking to me?' He said 'Yeh' So I shouted as loud as I could 'Shut the f*ck up you little pr*ck' and everyone started laughing and ripping the piss. Highlight was when someone said this isn't a chav park either and he replied in a extrmely high chav accent 'I aint no chav'. Thats as good as the abuse gets around here Phil
  3. Looking good. I like bikes that look like they have actually been used and are abit battered and reliable. This bike looks better in person guys:) Heard you might want daves control - im after it too lol. Phil
  4. Haha for some silly silly reason I watched that last night. To have any trials worth doing you would probably need a larger area than the stage I would have thought. Most of them made me cringe, like the martial arts girl, ok yeh I wouldn't fight her but I don't think it made an impressive show. Phil
  5. Looking good! But you have too much money! Phil
  6. True story, I couldnt agree more, but 'jake1516' is often rude and/or an idiot so I think its fair that someone should call him up on it (they do reguarly) However in the interest of the topic I'll leave it Phil
  7. Ha how ironic, you could grow up abit too. And I quote 'its gay'. No, immature and unnecersarry because of the way you go about responding to people. Yes it may be better to go about suggesting the improvements in the way you have stated however I wouldn't be an arse to a new member jsut because they didn't think of that. Phil
  8. So immature and unnecersarry. The members of the trials forums are in theory the 'customers'. Therefore I think it is fair that people suggest improvements if they so wish to. Secondly why would anyone not want to have a smoother running forum as it would benefit everyone. Phil
  9. Nice shots guys. Looks like some mental gapping and taps going down. And Nick that rail shot is awesome. Was this guilford? Really need to ride with you guys soon, need to teach me to tap Bike is fully up and running so should be all good. Phil
  10. O.K cheers guys. I'll just have to make do. The tar is just about possible to apply, if it rains I just won't ride (and be pissed off) Phil
  11. I've always ran tar and a smooth rim however I got a new wheel second hand and its got a medium to light grind. I tared it up a tiny bit then had a little rride but it started slipping badly, clearly the tar wasnt helping and was foolish. However even with the poor pads I have (red onza ones) and a medium grind I expected more. Has anyone got any short term Ideas so I can be out and about tomorrow. I have about 1g of tar left and if its wet that'll be useless. Its horrible and depressing but im seriuosly considering putting coke on it or something else suggary because there is no way I can sort out a new grind or get new pads by tomorrow Any Ideas? Cheers, Phil
  12. That is so good! Well for me: 0 mins Curbs 1 min to trials course in mates garden 10 mins into down for street stuff 10 mins on train to farnborough 30 mins on the train to Basingstoke All the local stuff Phil
  13. You have done well mate! Good stuff lawrence!!!!! Loving the green. Phil p.s MAKE A NEW VIDEO
  14. All about the gloves! Then you dont necersarrily need to buy decent grips. However you do need to buy the gloves in the first place. Look cooler in gloves - fact. Phil
  15. So bad ass! Bridge bit is too stupid! Phil
  16. Awesome video! worked very well. Phil
  17. Ok cheers. Well the question is then: 122.5mm Echo/VP or 127.5 mm Onza? (same price more or less)
  18. Just snapped the square taper bb I got as stock on my T-Rex. Looking on tarty for a new one. Looks like the easiest thing to do might be to just buy a cheapone made of steel for strength. Would a 127.5mm axle be ok? Cheers. Phil
  19. Nice vid man. Full face might be overkill but its all about what you feel comfortable/safe riding in I guess:) good stuff. Phil

    Grips

Don't get technical Just chuck some selotape around the bar until its thick enough and with enough it increases the friction and area touching the grip and it wont turn. Phil
  22. Well up for some of this action! Not going to be winning any prizes but sounds like a right laugh to do! Phil
  23. GOOD STUFF! Also I'd like to make the point I was well impressed by the teamwork. People were always covered and thought it was brilliant they always had someone behind them. Ocassionally I ask a mate to cover something for me. Then again they are doing some stupid big sections. Insane obstacles Phil
  24. Double maggy for the win! - Well not really but do the job. My maggy is starting to have some trouble on gaps to front though so I think a good grind and some decent pads would be a worthy invesment. Phil
