  1. £350 all in at my work. wouldnt bother getting a back street garage to do it as you need to drop the subframe down to get the box out and then you need the ford special tools to realign it when building back up. top mechanic at our place can do them in around 2-2.5 hours depending upon seized bolts etc. bucky -ford service advisor.
  2. what that supposed to mean????? natural boys???? explain................... that f**ked me right off.
  3. I AGREE WITH DAVE. You said two people who in my opinion are just regular riders. So what you might lick their arses along with half of the New members but at the end of the day what have they done for trials???? Made some videos and posted them on a trials website??? We need to look at comps. Just look at the world round that was held in the Uk last year, i heard loads of people talking about 'this new and exciting sport' for weeks after. the was so much positive publicity for our sport form those two days. forget about these riders who get sponsered by all these online bike company and start to think bigger than trials-forum.......................................................... IMO!! Bucky

i see what you mean dave someone else mentioned the other night that it had a kinda skyline look with all the lights bumper etc. would be a unique look if it would all fit nice idea mine should only be running standardish power only putting induction kit and stright through 2.5in pipe. today colour coded and refitted the missing bump strips sprayed inside and outside door handles and smoothed boot lock an colour coded. Starting to look almost smart now.

Quick update pictures: Drove cav home from work got started at 6 and had the engine sat in my garage by just before 10 block is going to mark feather for engine mount and cam belt kit sorting out tommorow will be done by saturday. Monday the lighter flywheel and clutch will be here tuesday lump is getting dropped into the van. Wed/Thur/Fri wiring fuel lines clutch throttles etc gettign sorted. At best could be on road by friday night but best not to be too hopeful. craig - im not too sure how much the insurance for an astravan is as im insured on a fleet policy with family bussiness. The engine wiring loom has been taken out of the cavalier and 90% of it going into the van. fueling will be dealt with by a new fuel pump from a mk4 petrol, fuel lines switch from one side of engine to the other with a few extra pipes and clips. Throttle cabe will be swapped over with the pedal box form the cav. original hydraulic clutch setup will be used with diesel gearbox. Piping up for radiator and heater shall be taken care of with a mixture of diesel and redtop bits. Think thats about it for now guys cheers for the interest
