  1. Right, just got my mac recently, updated my software to get the app store, I log in with my Apple ID and without even thinking about it it comes back with "Connection Failed" in red text, the same also happens on iTunes. I was hoping it would be a one off server issue but it's been the same for days now... is it just me? or is there anything I can do to rectify the problem?
  2. Yea I usually just put my iTunes on shuffle, 50/50 chance of it being bad or good let's face it? Worst one to come up was the macerana, she stopped, laughed and left.
  3. Surprised no-one has mentioned Michel Gondry's music videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Os5ihedyH8 The last 2 are ridiculous! This one isn't by Michel Gondry, but it is very clever! Pretty much the whole thing was filmed in 20 seconds, then in editing it is made to be just on a constant forward/backward play, with zooms in certain areas to highlight the action involved.
  4. Okay so I have a desktop PC set-up, got an old Sony Hi-Fi system as my speakers/audio output just via 3.5mm auxiliary. The problem is when watching online streaming media (iPlayer, SkyPlayer, TV Catchup, Youtube etc) I get an audible clicking noise about every 5 seconds on top of sound put out from the source media. It is relative to the volume that I am listening, so when I turn up the stereo, the click becomes louder too. It's not a problem with any offline media like music or films stored on my harddrive or even on my Xbox, just online internet browser based stuff is where it occurs. As far as I'm away it's always done it, but it's starting to drive me mental now I'm watching a lot more iPlayer/Sky Player stuff. Anyone else experienced this or know a cure? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Tell a lie, it does do it with my music on my hard drive.
  5. Sounds perfect, actually buzzing! Looks like I better get my new camera in time for this! Would love to film an event of this size. When are tickets available Jack?
  6. Do you use an additional mike or is it the one built into the camera?
  7. Yes that was an awesome video, it's almost like an introduction to a year of these guys. Good to see all the Essex crew out in force. Top riding!
  8. Literally just about to start building this disc wheel, noticed that on the t-master disc hub the flanges are really in different in size. When lacing the smaller flange it catches the larger opposite flange. I've only built on equal sized flanges, is it just a case of politely bending the spokes to overcome this..?
  9. Yea bit of advice for people with the official xbox steering wheels, hold onto them as Adam says they have been discontinued and now selling for about £90 minimum on eBay. Wish I knew that a month ago when I sold mine for £50
  10. Some people absolutely swear by it and will say that a 5mm change will make a massive difference. But for me it is the other measurements in the geo. Me personally I find that short and high BB is the way to go, feels nice on the rear wheel and very flicky, where a short with less of a BB rise feels more two wheel and a bit harder to keep on the rear wheel. I've still found that the biggest difference isn't your frame, but your bar and stem set-up, this can make your bike ride like crap or an absolute beast. Look into those combinations before whacking about loads of money on a new frame.
  11. Sweet man, will have to pop down sometime in the new year, possibly easter. I'm always cool to ride London and places like that though..
  12. Really want to ride a lot next year, hopefully get back into it and ride every other weekend minimum. I'm hitting the gym regularly so I want to keep with doing that next year. Creating new scripts/ideas for general creativity for my film and TV course. Watch a lot more films and tv!
  13. Nice style Ryan it's really developing and your looking really beast now. Can I just ask what bar and stem set-up did you run on your Limey 320?
  14. My friend had an old T-Lite frame and with the spec it was much lighter than the bike I had at the time. But the set-up with stem and bar angle was just awful, it made the bike seem stupidly short, almost like the forks were around the wrong way and very hard to keep on the rear wheel, cramping my back and it felt very heavy. Bar and stem set-up make a very big difference. And as mentioned tyre pressure is as important, too hard and you will get no bounce making your bike feel a ton, just the right pressure with good bounce will make your bike spring across gaps better.
  15. That is crazy stuff Rob, I love it! Nice to see your still with the bike, do you ride much when the weather isn't this bad?

    Epic

Weight loss is a big difference here but clearance would be a huge benefit too, think how close you could get to the wall without yours forks! I still really want to do this one day!
  17. I haven't updated my progress in a while. Hoping to get the inner arm done completely the half sleeve then I can have a break for a bit whilst I get some money together.
  18. Just out of interest, can anyone shed some light as to how much bills are for a group of 5 or 6 per week? I'll be moving out in second year and with all guys so it should be fairly to keep cheap on things like heating in the winter. It's about £65-£75 a week for housing round here and would like to know how much bills are likely to up it so I can budget for it.
  19. No snow in Hatfield, just bloody cold. I hate the stuff! and winter!
  20. Weather and work dependant.. I would like to travel up and ride there sometime though..
