Pallets are a good start, screw them together with an electric battery drill, then you can whip them apart again really easily and they're super stable.

I think I'll have another one day, almost definately. I think most people with agree with me, they're pretty much the best mod frame for what they are designed to do/be. (Cheap, Strong, Decent Geo, Stiff). They are very, very heavy though, 2.3kg. I know I felt the weight when I had mine!

Yes, definately. You need to remove the corrosion from the pistons otherwise it'll just rip the new seals apart.

Yes, get a piece of stell, file it down with the two edges rounded until it will fit across the bore cap, put this piece of steel in a vice, mount the caliper to a fork or a piece of steel with a caliper mount cut out of it, thenwith one hand press the caliper down hard, and with the other gently undo the bore cap. if not...does anyone have one that i could possibly borrow? Nope, sorry. But making your own is piss easy.

I'd get a stock if I were you, even getting a Zona Zip doesn't make a massive difference IMO, especially if you're 6 foot.

Yeh they stopped making them in 2007, I was lucky to find this one really, the guy didn't ride it a lot from what I heard, then stripped a brake mount thread and hung it on the wall for ages, so it's still in really good condition.

yeh I didn't realise I did it until I started editing, looks seriously shit haha, will make an effort not to do it from now on. I feel much more comfertable and confident on the Simtra, so I don't spend as long setting up for stuff. (Also need to cut down for future filming). Just made a video with the clips I'd taken since about Christmas, hardly ridden at all since January so the Kot ones are all dated from them, the Simtra ones are from a couple of days ago, so still getting used to it. Becuase it's a proto, and may well have some new ideas that can be copied because it's not patented. And also maybe they want to build up the hype a bit?
