    Snail Cams

Drilling two holes and tapping them isn't hard at all, but you need to check that your hub is designed for Snail cams to be on the inside of the frame first, otherwise you won't have enough space to fit them in.
  2. Sounds like you need to strip the wheel down and send it back to Hope, but unfortunately you're in Canada so it might take a while. Your best bet is just to Email Hope and see what they can do, or ask at your nearest Hope dealer.

    Forum Task.

to encapsulate to energize to enrapture to enthrall to enrich to visualize That's as many as I could come up with. What do you need them for?
  4. Play the other record Hudson, you're getting boring. I'm only 12 stone and run a rear Rubber Queen with an ordinary skinny tube, so I can't be that harsh, and I haven't even managed to bend the wheel yet. The main reason I run a disc over a magura or a vee is that I hate rim brakes, and it's my bike anyway so I'll have it set up so I like it.
  5. Whats wrong with disc tabs? They're amazing things, and must weigh about 15g.
  6. Pretty much what I've got now, but with lighter rims, a Try-All H front hub, TI axled MG-1s, all TI bolts, and some try-All cranks with a tiny bashring and 15:12 gearing. Possibly an Ozonys XR26 frame aswell.
  7. Well I've had a rather relaxed morning, I'm currently making my dinner, then I'm going to work.
  8. I'm pretty sure you can leave feedback on here anyway.
  9. Mod: Front Try-All, Rear Creepy Crawler. Stock: Front Try-All, Rear Continental Rubber Queen.
  10. What stops it rotating upwards? It's probably only designed for XC bikes so they won't have to deal with backwards forces aswell as fowards. Good find though. EDIT: Le Bigfellow, he is too fast!

    Headphones

I've got a Classic, the most I ever use it on is about 75% volume. When I say "powerful", I mean like when you set the equalizer to the rock/dance preset, it sounds more powerful than when the equalizers turned off. I'll try them with my old Minidisc player, that destroyed my last set of headphones because you can adjust the bass and treble yourself.
  12. Yep. I'm off to college soon, I won't get home until about 6:30-7:00.

    Headphones

I bought some Sennheiser CX300s after reading loads of goos reviews of them, but to be honest they weren't as good as I expected them to be, they were much better than the iPod ones, the bass is pretty good and the quality is good, but they aren't as powerful as I though they would be. Maybe it's just my iPod, the sound quality of these 6th gen ones is supposedly worse than the older ones.
  14. There is if you ride left foot foward.
  15. Try it, but I wouldn't go for it. Real mud is cheaper and I doubt that the mud you put on you face is very gritty. You could also try burning the pads out with a blow torch, but be careful as this can damage the pads.
  16. Why would you want more bite than a disc? Dual disc would be my choice every time.
  17. I use bread about half an inch thick, toast it, then slice up some Double Gloucester and melt it under the grill, heaven. If I'm feeling really naughty, I'll add on some Cheese and Sour Creme Chive dip. TF Snack thread? Then it would include jacket potatoes.
  18. Ooooh, I thought you were being sarchastic. :$
  19. I wasn't actually pulling his leg, that's how I've always done it!
  20. Get some nice sloppy mud, smear it all over the rotor and go down a hill and get it nice and hot, then rinse it off and go and get it hot to dry it out. It's the way I've been doing it for 4 years, never failed yet. It works best if the mud is a bit gritty, it scrubs the rotors and the pads clean, then when you rinse it off it takes the crap with it.

    09 Pitbull!

They've been using it on singlespeed roadies and track bikes for 20+ years, it's not really new. It's good that it's finally got onto trials bikes though, looks like it solves the issues with snail cams.
  22. Put an adjustable spanner over it and keep tweaking it until its true, you can get them almost perfect when you get used to doing it. Clean the spanner first though, or put some kitchen roll over the rotor first, or you could contaminate the rotor.
  23. You don't have to buy a new rotor when you bend it, you can easily bend them back.
  24. Could someone pick me up? I live in New Mills near Buxton. I'll try and blag a lift though off the Mother.
