  1. Your thinking of Lee Mill Quarry, its really good there and theres a real mixture of stuff to ride, but in the rain it's a really hard place to ride.
  2. 1. Blown Golf R32 MK4. 2. Mini with a Hayabusa engine. 3. Sierra RS500 in the Texaco colour scheme. 4. A Mad Max Interceptor replica, with a working supercharger. 5. General Lee.
  3. Come ride with us, the trains run here from Piccadilly through stockport, you could come along to the next ride we have in Buxton? If you have a car though, there's loads of places round here to ride, Matlock Quarry is best for natural, Buxton is best for street. Google Maps Link Keep an eye out for topics in the Rides section, I tend to post it up when we're going from time to time.
  4. His rear one is mint, it's had the mounts helicoiled and everything!
  5. For £160 I'd think about it, they look like new.
  6. I've always found that if they ever come loose, the tapers get damaged so they're never the same again. Try greasing the tapers and the crank bolt, then lamping them up tight.
  7. Buy a Continental Rubber Queen. I have one, not tried it yet though.
  8. Merge the two, white and green! It would look so much better than either of those. Or just do the white and grey that someone posted up, then people could choose their own colour scheme.
  9. Ride your bike more, garenteed to work!
  10. I think they're either 05 or 06 Mono Trial brakes, which doesn't matter as they're all the same, apart from the 07 and 08 ones have the newer lever. At £200 though, they're not worth it, you can get them on here for around £40-60 each.
  11. The grey and white one has been my favourite so far, but it needs to be all grey, without the brown bits if you ask me. It would give people more options when choosing their colour scheme.
  12. Mod: Extended Monty TIs. Stock: TrialTech.
  13. I've never even come close, I fell off once and it landed on the rotor on a rock, but they bend back so easily it doesn't matter.
  14. Maybe you shouldn't be thinking about buying a bike if you've already nearly maxed out your credit card?
  15. You said about the frame and tyre thread being out of date, it's not though, the tyres and frames don't change size the older they get. The same frame and tyre combo that worked 5 years ago will still work today. But I see your point that it could be misleading if the frames have been changed, maybe it needs updating? I'm pretty sure it does get used a lot, it's just that people don't tend to reply to a list of instructions instead of an open topic.
  16. I've found that they reduce the amount of bite, and in some situations can reduce the hold aswell. If your frame is too flexy, try a lightweight booster first. My brothers T-Lite was terrible, so I put an RB booster on, this actually made the brake hold and bite better, because the frame was so flexy that if you set the bite point so the blade was an inch from your middle finger, it would flex so much that the blade would hit your finger when you were just on the back wheel. It's still quite flexy compared to some I've tried, but it's just right. I find that if a brake is too stiff I get arm pump. Basically if your frame is stiff enough without, don't use one because it can make things worse. If you want one to protect the crossover, you can make a protecter type thing or just get a braided crossover.

    Heged

The riding was absolutely amazing, if only it had subtitles in English.
  18. trialscentral.com is the biggest motorbike forum I know of, I used to use it a lot when I did more motorbike comps.

    It Btec Diploma

It sounds to me like you're too good for the National Diploma, I'm doing it now and it's a piece of piss, my college do the next level up, which is called a foundation degree, I don't know the details all that well though. Have you already got GCSEs or A Levels? If you've got 5 A-C at GCSE then you can go straight onto the National Diploma, which is a 2 year Level 3 course. If you already have some A levels or AS Levels, then you can go onto a Level 4 course, which I think includes foundation degrees, and could also possibly include HNDs.
  20. The sidewalls aren't painted, he's ground them. One of the Coustellier brothers was running his rim brakes on drilled sidewalls. I don't really understand why any of you care? It's his bike, let him do what he wants to it! The bike looks so much better than with all the stickers on, but seriously, I reckon the mods should start warning for not using the bike pics thread.
  21. TrialTechs are the same as Try-Alls apparantly, dunno if it's right though. Get an Echo, it's what all the fat bashers use these days.
  22. Is this a real magazine or a cover you designed for a school project or something? It looks really good, but you it definately needs to cover stock trials aswell, and in the makes at the bottom, Luna? Luna tyres were shit when they came out. If you mean the Meta 360cc when you say about motorbike trials, the Meta is a push bike. It's Krisholm not Krisholms.
  23. For a Mod I have to say Monty TI or Try-All Rage bars. I've got TrialTech on my stock, I don't think I'd like them on my mod, but they are much better for front wheel type moves than my TIs.
