  1. I've found a vacuum cleaner works best. Mine: P4 2.66. 1GB DDR RAM. 2x 80gb Hard Drives. Nvidia 6200A 256mb. XP SP3 mainly, but occasionally Ubuntu Linux.
  2. Looks brilliant, but did you machine both the spacers down? You wouldn't be able to use the disc mount. I always wanted one of these when I rode mod and said several times I would buy one straight away if Hope made one, but they've only started looking into it recently so I couldn't get one.

Well Massa is driving a Ferrari, if Hamilton's team had managed that then he probably would have had a life time ban. Looking better for Hamiltononce all the guys in front of him who need to take their penalties come in to take them, he'll be up to 4th/3rd.

In the replay you can see he actualy got a green light, as soon as it went green he shot off, without knowing he was still hooked up to the fuel line! Should they get a penalty for it? I reckon not, it'll be an electrical fault or one of the pit crew gave the light too early or whatever. Hamilton and Massa are going to have to work hard to get past the Red Bull cars now.

It's still going to be interesting! The entrance and exit to the pit lane lead straight onto the racing line, and the lights apparantly give a lot of glare on a standard visor so they are experimenting with different shades, it's going to be tough for the drivers.

Anyone watching today? From the bits I saw of the qualifying yesterday, it's going to be interesting.
  7. Well get some Tensile offset mounts instead of the Try-All ones you wanted. The Echo 07/08 rims are pretty much the strongest rims available. You could just try and be a bit smoother instead though.
  8. I hated that so much, whats with all the choppy changing angles and stuff all the time? He's an amazing rider but the editing was daft, I stopped it half way through.
  9. Well get them then, I've never tried them. I only said Rock Blues because that's what I had on my best maggy.

    "only If" Thread.

Fly. Run a company making trials parts. Light ones.
  11. You need a really sharp grind, and then the pads disintegrate, you actually get pads material all over the rim and tyre! I had the same prolem with my citrus pads on the front, I gave it a light grind on the front, then when you braked hard going downhill, you could actually see puffs of pad dust going off. Get some nice pads, like Rock Blues on a heavy grind.
  12. I think mines one of the old Echo internal bearing ones, but there's loads of clearance. I'd go for the TrialTech M15 if I were you, it's super light and pretty cheap, and if it's anything like the other TrialTech stuff, it'll be really strong and stiff aswell. If your really bothered about weight though, get one of these. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19630
  13. Well you were in NMC, barely a fortnight went by without a new topic with your bike in it, despite being told about 50 times to use the Bike pics thread. Get a blue front rim and loose the stickers, it'll look mint.
  14. Yes, they're £37.50, the Try-Alls are £30, and don't have the metal clip things, the TI bolts and don't look as good. £7.50 well spent if you ask me...
  15. I think the general picture I got was they are never straight, because the 4 bolts mounts will be slightly out and the braking surfaces on the rim don't run parralel. Have a look at the new echo ones, they look pretty good.

You joined here in April this year, how is that a long time? The difference between 71 and 72 is pretty big when you actually try them out.
  17. Matt, my brothers/mine has this exact problem, I thought it was because the chain was worn out, but I've just put a new chain on to sell it and it's worse! I've knicked the tensioner I had on my Echo and used that, which is working for now. I could almost get a link out of the chain, but it woul be about 3mm too short if I did. PM me for helpies if you want, or MSN. I'm getting pics of it tonight to add to the for sale topic, so You can have a look at that for an idea of how to sort it.
  18. If it's super short mods your after, I'm selling a T-Lite complete. I've only ever known of about 3 people owning them, the only one I've seen for sale was Dave Cleaver's, but I think it got sold.
  19. It would make the pads harder I'm guessing, so they wouldn't deform to the grind as easily, so you probably loose braking power.
  20. They are pretty damn good if you know how to set one up and maintain it, which isn't needed very often.
  21. Why bump it every 5 minutes? Even with for sale topics your only allowed to bump once every 24 hours. I'm not a fan of Profiles, one of my mates had one for 2 weeks, nuff said.
  22. I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that Koxx bikes are normally quoted the weight sans pedals. Or they were once or twice, and I picked up on it.

Did you buy it new or was it Adam's old one? No it's pointed out I can see a booster there, looks schwarve! EDIT: His old old one, I've got his old one.
  24. Maybe it's the frame flexing and not the wheel? If your putting a lot of load through one crank arm, then maybe the bb shell is twisting?

Looks sweet Will. How are you finding it without a booster? Mine had a 2 bolt Echo on eon when I bought it, even with a disc you can tell it stiffens the frame up. Is it the long or the short?
