  1. Is it a 20" or a 26"? Either way, if you don't have a Try-All front tyre, you could save a fair bit of weight with one. But it mostly depends on what the spec of your bike is now, I'm guessing your frame is either 3-4kg, or you have pretty heavy set of parts.
  2. I remember radical highs! I recorded it when I was about 8/9.
  3. It looks mint mate, needs painting though, something bright and mad like lime green.
  4. Is that a rear disc wheel? It's looking pretty cool mate! Hope you enjoy shorter the shorter wheelbase and dual disc.
  5. I'd forgotten you did those huge gaps, they look even bigger when you're there. Pity your frame cracked, what are you getting next?
  6. It looks really smart dude, what forks are they? Giant?
  7. It was just a mistake, I missed the S off Echos. Last time I saw Tom, he had a Monty PR, and I didn't know he had changed it!
  8. Looking good Tom, where did the Echo come from?
  9. That was mint Rich, probably your best vid yet. Whats the music? I'd like to listen to more of their stuff.
  10. Why no disc mount. There's no holes for snail cam bolts either, which would make chain tensioning a real pain to do. But other than that, I really like it, and I actually would quite want one!
  11. Get it out, they are weaker than the rest of the chain, and always break.
  12. Hang on: That account ain't banned mofo!
  13. That's utterly epic, I'm going to check he knows his last warn was for next time he talks at me.

    Google Chrome.

I've only just got FF3 sorted out with the right theme and plugins, so I'll probably not get it, but it sounds like a really good idea! I'll wait until Jon's official verdict before downloading it though.
  15. Charlie Est is one of his aswell, but I don't think it's been banned...
  16. I can't think of a way of doing it without a vice, you need to somehow clamp the BB tool down and the use the wheel to turn the freewheel off, or clamp the wheel down and use a big adjustable and a pipe. Havn't you go a Black 'N' Decker workmate or anything? Or any way of clamping either the tool or the wheel?
  17. I dare say it would be totally rubbish, you only ever use one gear ratio for trials, and trials bikes are the worst bikes ever for riding anywhere, so instead of spending good money making your bike have gears, get a cheap bike that already has gears, and a whole lot more that makes it good for commuting.
  18. Hopes "go all spongey" when they have been set up incorrectly, to get the beast out of them they need the mounts facing and need to be shimmed out perfectly. They generally shouldn't need rebleeding because any bubbles that are in the system will slowly rise through the system when you ride the bike, unless there is a leak at the bottom. I've never used a BB7 with the bite or holding power of a well set up Hope, but they seem like the best alternative to me. Have you thought about a Magura Louise? My brothers has a lot more hold than any of my Hopes, but it's a 180mm rotor on a Mod. The downside for me is that it feels really wooden at the lever, and has almost no modulation at all, so on the rear it should be amazing.
  19. It looks interesting, but very overbuilt. Whats the reason for the top and down tubes to be parallel? I'd imagine that would only make the frame weaker because there looks to be almost no triangulation between them. The integrated booster/frame brace looks really interesting, a nice lightweight way of stiffening up the rear. The dropouts are way too big though, and they look really long aswell, surely there's no need for such legnth, the wheel can only move as far as a set of 4 bolt mounts after all? Tyre clearance looks good, I wonder if you could get a 2.7" Maxxis in there? The weight sounds OK aswell, althought I'm guessing it could drop a fair bit off that. Good effort, not bad for a first prototype.
  20. You got 2 more after you rode the first one?
  21. That looks brilliant Adam! Nice bar/stem choice.
  22. I'd rebleed it if I were you, so that you can make sure it's screwed on as far as possible, especially if you have filed down the stop on the lever blade.
  23. I concur. We must blame someone for the terrible disgusting rain. You could of course, just ride anyway? It is only water.

    Wally - The Movie

I really enjoyed that, your riding is so smooth and controlled! Just one little niggle, how come you muted all the clips? I love the sound of the brakes and the freewheel.
  25. It was the worst trials bike I've been unfortunate enough to ride, and I've ridden a Da Bomb harbinger. Stear clear! Get a second hand bike instead.
