  1. It does from mine too, but at least your brake works.
  2. Buy my Echo? EDIT: Jokes, not for sale yet. I used to have thise problem when i had to use the TPA to move the pads out, wind it right off and set the pads up just using the 4 bolt mounts.

    Echo Lite 08 anyone?
  5. Why Inur, you just don't like mod! Accept it! Nah it looks pretty cool mate, hope the frame holds out! (For a ride or two anyway).
  6. I would have thought it would be rubbish for a disc brake, because it's basically straight laced, but they're spaced further apart than a normal straight laced wheel.
  7. If anyone could find the first half aswell, that'd be great. I can't find mine on video, but I had a few mre minutes than this on the beginning, there was an interview with Matt Tounge first talking about him and Edd snapping frames all the time, then it went on to talk about when Pashley got involved with them.
  8. Ah yeh they're pretty long, I think an Echo Team is slightly longer though, but the Try-All was the longest I've ever tried.

    Happy Birthday dude!
  10. That looks brilliant, the black parts really let the frame stand out, which is nice. What Bar/Stem/Forks are you running? Looks like you have some stem stacks in there aswell....
  11. The T-Masters are really short and really high, my brother had one. The steep angle means that it was shorter than the Monty PR he has now.

    Echo Sl Range

Viz? Pretty good or so I've heard.
  13. Yeh once you get into it, it's really simple. It's the planning and the calculating all the spacing that takes up the time. Just use a Monty TI hub and it will make things a whole lot easier.
  14. I didn't measure anything, just the holes for the caliper bolts. Everything else was marked out and fabricated to fit the frame, the caliper and the rotor. It says exactly how I did it in the Wiki, I hoped it would come in useful one day. If you follow that then you shouldn't have any trouble, hopefully.
  15. Haha, I new the geo was right, just the bar, stem and brakes that were a bit wierd. I'm trying it out with my Pace forks on, they don't ride much different, but they shrink the wheelbase to a tiny 1085 and the BB height to +25, so I'll run then for a bit and switch back to see which I prefer. They are 25mm shorter, but the bars felt too high anyway with the Montys on, and it feels the same on the rear wheel because I still have no stacks under the stem, so we'll have to see how it works out.
  16. I've got Monty TI bar and stem, they work perfectly for me. I use 20mm of stacks under the stem aswell. It all depends on you though, what do you prefer, how tall are you, what sort of riding you do etc. But it all just boils down to what you prefer. What bar and stem have you got now, it would help if we knew what you've got, so we can recommend a setup that is further foward and wider.

    New Echo Stuff

That looks almost identical to the 08 Lite disc dropouts, apart from the Lit only has 4 big holes in the drive side.
  18. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR AGES!!!!! I saw it on the BBC many millions of years ago and stuck the tape on, I must have been 9/10. I lost it about 3 years ago though, I used to watch it all the time haha. Cheers Andy!

    Would A

Put the snail cams inside the frame, and I'd also put a washer on either side of the axle before you fit it all into the frame, then your not bending the frame too much when the bolts are done up.
  20. I don't know anywhere that's good for freeride, but theres some decent trials stuff about pretty much all over.
  21. I've always preferred long bikes haha. The Echo is 1030 and the Kot is 1100. I think.
  22. I live in the Peak District, but it depends where you're going, it's a big place.
  23. iworld.co.uk, I've heard mixed stories about them, but even an imbecile could package up two items and put them in the out box.
  24. Dan, you cracked your's already. (So did I, but it's a fault on them.) Stand your bike on it's end, if the front wheel isn't higher than the top of your head, it isn't long enough. What has already been said is right though, it's bar about your bar and stem than anything, although your WB does play it's part obviously.
