Not really, I was more pointing out that "senior" in this forums case doesn't mean "senior", it means "superior". The senior members are upgraded to that status because they're clever, and can offer informed advice/opinions to the admins about making decisions about how the forum is run. I'd be a terrible candidate for that role, although I have been on here for 6 years I tend to be too brazen when it comes to addressing issues, and I've always been biased towards serving existing members rather than attracting new ones. Anyway, stop being gay.

IMO, not remotely pointless. I think the current system is completely flawed, you spent your L plate time with 15bhp, then 2 years with 33bhp, then you can get on a Hayabusa with 190bhp? It worked 40 years ago when the most powerful bike of the day had under 75bhp, but not any more IMO. Mind you, I don't think that doing multiple tests is the answer. I think you should have to pass one test as I did, then the amount of power you're allowed should scale each year, like 33bhp for the first year, 50bhp in the second, 100bhp in the third, 150bhp in the 4th, then unlimited after that. Mind you, my last bike was an 8bhp MZ 125, but my next bike (planned) is a Yamaha FZR1000, 150bhp and 170mph for £1500.

Every single member on this b*****d forum is gay, including me.

Yeh maybes. Never bothered me before. Probably will now you've pointed it out... I love my monitors I do. They're dirt cheap now, about £120-140 each second hand. So worth it!
-
Only 2 that you can see are power cables though, the rest are speakers, HDMI etc. The one that runs behind the monitors is a speaker cable that is only just long enough. Besides, I have my extension sorted. I have a 10 socket surge protector tower that lives in the corner that all the cables feed to. I might get a trunking shelf kinda thing to hook the cables up underneath that board at the back of the desk, but then the desk would have to sit further away from the wall.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Muel replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
Sounds like my relationship with my ex to be honest (in the beginning). Through some bad decisions she ended up doing the wrong course, at the wrong uni, living at home in the middle of no-where so she was a right grumpy bint for a while. We had regular (daily I think) phone calls that turned into "So....". We just stuck it out until the end of that uni year, then she moved in with me and allllll was well. (Until she became my ex, but that's unrelated). to be honest I'd recommend getting away from all the uni shit for a few days. Whether it means going back to parents or staying with friends, it might do you good to get you both away from uni and the shit that goes with it. You're both hating it in one form or another, and you're both grumpy southern bastards so probably doesn't matter which one goes to see the other, there's going to be residual tension there? Christmas is normally 4/5 weeks off right? Maybe you could set up a week at her parents and a week at yours to give you something to work towards? IMO you need to be happy in 2 of the following, home/work/friends. Sounds like she has fairly shit friends (housemates anyway), doesn't like her house, and doesn't like uni. 0 out of 3 is going to take it's toll! I'm only miserable about uni (work) at the moment, the other 2 are fine and I'm still a right bitch to be around. This has ceased to be a helpful reply and has turned into a random stream of conciousness, so I'm going to go away now. -
No, right handed. There are two mice. Pfft, not exactly messy are they? I need longer ones before I can tidy them properly. To replace them with longer ones would cost me £50+, so cba.
-
Could have at least tidied... Mine a few months ago. I now have a laptop instead of the netbook. All the network stuff/printer/server etc is in the other corner. 3x28" monitors btw. They make me smile way too often.

Nahhh, not fussed enough to spend money. I don't have a proper training regime any more, I just eat a relatively decent diet and go climbing when I can, results are slow but still appearing.
-
Trudat. There's so much shit in them, might as well just drink Red Bull. I used to go for 1 mug of fairly strong coffee before a workout, easily enough caffeine to get an energy rush. Anyone ever read up about using low levels of caffeine for fat loss? The theory is that if you have a small amount at regular times throughout the day (4-5 mugs of coffee for example), it keeps your metabolic rate up, so you're burning more calories just by sitting down. Seems to have worked for me over the last year or so, with a relatively healthy diet, I'm slowly losing fat but but getting any side effects (tiredness, hunger, mood-swings etc).

It's very much speculation really... He admitted to paying to get onto a 'very naughty website', but says it was for research for his book as he believe he was fiddled as a child. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-154623/Pete-Townshend-I-paedophile.html Interesting read really. Seems legit to me to be honest.

Why not just make a group on Facebook then? You'd have better mobile support, non-TF members could contribute etc.

I'm gonna wander in as a Web Designer and state that generally speaking, in my little world, anything darker than #111111 is considered "black" and anything lighter is "dark grey". That shit is black. Maybe not 100% black but it's in the area on the spectrum known as "black". Anyway, KO3S is smaller than KO4S right? Bigger is always better.
-
I thought "This is trippy shit, gonna have to BOTI it". Didn't find it 'exciting' in the slightest, was just a wierd and wonderful internet finding.
-
You'd have done that just by training and drinking an extra pint of water per day as a supplement...

Not really IMO, It has a desktop, the only difference is that the start menu is now a full screen thing with tiles instead of icons. It's phone/tablet influenced, but not a full phone/tablet UI.
-
You're still using XP? Philistine. I've been playing with it and it's growing on me. If you set up the start screen how you want it, then it quickly becomes just a better version of the start menu. It's like a start menu, but bigger, with bigger things to click. That's better.

How badly shagged is the one you have lol?
-
Yehhhh, that opinion came from Prawn, who (I seem to remember) is one of Lou's best mates, so didn't come across as an invalid opinion at all, it came across as your best mate openly criticising you for your actions. Either way, glad she's happy with it.
-
Meh, maybe I missed something but last I read about it, Jardo had basically bullied her into selling her big fast car to him and getting the 500, and she wasn't very happy about it? Thought it was worthy of a dig anyway. If I'm wrong, I apologise and hope she loves it.
-
No, you can't. Not that easily anyway, but using a simple registry hack you can disable metro and get the W7 style start menu up. It's not the same as the old one, but very close.
-
If you keep the W7 licence it comes with as well, do it dude. The W8 upgrade licences are selling for £40 second hand.

14 stone 4lbs should be the target, as that's 200lbs. I'm not weight training at all any more. Just bodyweight/climbing training (not often enough) and dieiting. Down to about 185lbs now, still too heavy to be any good at climbing really.
