  2. Me too! got them from Halfords over 2 years ago and they're still going strong :ermm: Pete
  3. My bikes kinda personalised, ish lol. has blue hubs, blue maggie lever and blue bash guard. every other part is black with the exception of the frame, rear spokes and front lever. i sprayed the front and rear rims all black (except rear brake surface) looks really good i think, but i don't go out of my way to buy co-ordinated parts. Pete
  4. Did you see the pic? sarcasm? lol i don't know, you've got me confuzzled! (Y) Pete
  5. Was looking forward to being famous (Y) Pete
  6. We have a fair few arsey old people here in bangor, is great fun. especially when tehy threaten to ring the police, get no reaction and wait for the car to show up. everytime they just ask us to move on to keep the fogey happy then lay into them for wasting time lol. Is great fun, the best one is the guy that jumps from bench to bench to stop us riding them. oh good times lol Pete
  7. Yep gd luck!! lol i forgot to add the only reason i used a rear disc was because i snapped off one of the brake mounts. Pete
  8. The 05 has 375 chainstays and 12mm bb rise whereas the 04 has longer stays (not sure how much) and little or 0 bb rise as far as i know. Pete
  9. It was a 185 rotor and was pretty good all round, but it lacked the holding power of a magura. wasn't noticable on most things, but if you landed on the edge of say a wall it would slip much easier than a maggie would. i'm sure theres a way round it, maybe flipping the rotor or pads round and bedding them in backwards perhaps? i don't know (N) Pete
  10. oh yes!!! :o It lacked hold though, meant rails were much much sketchier. Was still good though, having a brake that worked perfectly no matter what the weather. Despite this i'm still glad to have a magura back Pete
  11. Yup, was ok but the flex was a little worrying, also ended up on my back more than with my maggie. glad i've got my maggie back on now :o Pete
  12. Can't go wrong with the bear factory :- pete
  13. Is definately harder, i went from a monty urban to a 1060 pitbull, sometimes i struggle to pull the front up off a kerb lol although with time i'll get used to it. Pete

Hmmm useful stuff, i really need to lose "junior", the student life and too much beer doesn't do much for ones fitness lol. though i do swim lanes every monday, play squash once or twice a week and ride as much as i can. Think i'm slowly winning my battle lol. Easter and the summer will do great things to lose the belly methinks Pete

  20. Theres another way. instead of faffing around with springs and circlips just remove the spring and circlip, put a magura evo mount washer in its place and tighten until it locks up :) Pete
