  6. i built my wheel radially because i was doing it myself and dont know how to do 3 cross yet but also wanted it looking pimp. strength is not so important on the front although there is a noticeable difference in riding with a radial wheel as opposed to a cross pattern in terms of lateral stiffnees.
  7. most crusiers i have seen only run a rear brake. i used to have a set of s and m pitchforks on my crusier which are just longer than the standard bmx pitchforks. dmr probably do something similar now.. they seem to do loads of forks now.
  8. the norco was made from reynolds tubing so would not have been too difficult to do that kind of damage to. i used to be amazed at how thin the pashley tubes were. still though, gotta hurt like fook.

  10. shut your cake-hole. most of these topics are only fun... some people have too much time; evidentley.
  11. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=77870 also check out the set ups they have at such events as the bike show and indoor comps.
  12. i do piece work at work so i get paid by the bike i do; working in my lbs simlpy assembling new bikes and pdi'ing. £8 per bike on so works out to be £10.67 an hour as it takes me on average 45 minutes to build a bike. i only usually work a few hours and go home. it is also important to also take into account the discount that people working in bike shops etc will get. since most of the things i buy are bike related, i save a huge amount of money. i get charged trade price +vat +10%.
  13. beautiful looking leeson. superb job.
  14. there is a dedicated bmx bike pic thread. otherwise, good job
  15. i thought middleburn had a lifetime warranty against things like that.
  16. oh please forgive my ignorance.
  17. im sure nobody would, but it is a good idea to drink the beer from the cans first as otherwise they may expolde. could end up tasty though.
  18. do you really need two bikes that are almost exactly the same? you could pick up a pretty nice bmx, xc bike or whatever for the equivilant amount of money and expand your riding ability
  19. go for it. i have had no problem with this seller. i bought my king headset from them, along with many thomson seatposts and stems over the years. delivery does usually take a day or two longer since they are shipped from abroad.
  20. i have always liked blue colour schemes, glad to see you havent gone over the top though. i would maybe be inclined to get a blue headset for it to finish it off.
  21. its fairly light too, at around 24lbs was going to sell it to buy a car, but have decided to keep it, for the summer at least.
  22. couldnt find a suitable place for this pic. perhaps the bmx pic thread should be made into a non-trials bike section.
  23. i think giant only do the stp; street, park, trail (/trial?) frame this year and stopped producing the frame you mean last year. some large giant stockits may have some or be able to get one. it is likely that they will appear on ebay; as do many of the giant dealer special offers.
