  1. technically the bike is mint. but i will just have to go with what everyone else has said about the excessive green.
  2. nice. better than that adamant with coloured bits in another thread. also that v brake... don't they need right angles to work the best they can?
  3. i like it. how about a carbon version.
  4. very nice. high five. its good that they have a unique colour to their brand. good to see a brand hasnt gone for the brushed finish. thats a monster of a rear sporcket though.
  5. those massive cannondale frames pashley and those uk flags hope hubs were where it was geax sedona raceline maguras mods were gay short stems azonic double walls gears eddie tongue chris akrigg d521 seats street
  6. ordered £250 worth of stuff last week and still havnt got my free tshirt yet as they are not answering emails. i also asked them several times about getting a single kmc kool 3"/32 split link. as they are not likely to respond does anyone know where else i can get one from?
  7. does it not go in cos its upside down?
  8. frame materials have moved on with time for the better. steel...aluminium now we are seeing more ti and carbon frames as the prices get lower. dont forget how expensive alu frames where when they came out. manufacturers will always be using new, better materials.
  9. yeh lets face it though how strong does a road or xc frame need to be on the same point how strong does a bmx need to be? very. solution? steel. maybe a steel trials frame featuring those machined out tubes is in order like that bmx, cant remember which one. anyway back on topic. leeson ***
  10. weight, flex. just was thinking, how many frame builders are there outside the uk producing steel frame? not sure of norco still do.
  11. not saying he is crap but its unclear at this stage. curtis have made hundreds of frames. just rather buy from an established brand although would prefer some of the trials features of the iolo in the curtis.
  12. i would rather get a more trials specific design like the iolo but made by professionals- curtis. or a leeson.
  13. single speed set up, burns, bars and a front disc. soon adds up.
  14. i had a set on my leeson, also know someone who used them on a zero. great bars.
  15. mr muscle™ another one is using visor vipes. i got some for my motorbike helmet but sold it. they are handy as they are individually packaged so good to take on a ride. alcohol based ones. or disc brake solvent.
  16. ok cheers. so it is about the width not the pitch?
  17. is the middleburn super pro trials bash a 1/ or 3/32 tooth design?
  18. liking the simplicity- colourwise. perhaps consider a new rear tyre
  19. everyday cars? i think not. 306 gti 6 for me.
  20. fairly daft i think seeing as materials like this and carbon fibre have the impact strength of a paper bag. just make a ti hanger and buy a decent cnc tensioner.
  21. the dont really need super cars like that. all they need is a basic car with a nice engine. plus with the training they can drive better than most people. for example, the police motorcycle riders use honda pan eurpean 1300's and on these they can ride faster than many many motorcyclists. yet are they riding race spec superbikes? no. a touring bike loaded with equipment. i expect most joy riders and the like would find it quite a thrill to be chased by a car like that anyway
  22. nice waste of tax for the top poilcemen to tun up to work in.
  23. its strong, light and looks pretty. but hit or scratch it and and you have had it. those mini seats look awsome and is a great example of where carbon can be used well. those spaces look pretty wicked too...always wondered if anybody made them. using carbon for chain tensioners, thats just daft. a nice lovely ti would would be pretty cool. they do.. trek project one for example. the mes effect you talk about is often simply a thin sheet of weaving purely there for cosmetics as underneat there can be different weave patterns, depending on production i.e trek inject their frames i believe hence the whispy effect on their 'nude' frames
  24. fab looking bike but; i dont see the point in the modification. just buy a vertical droput frame?
