In the heat of the moment you dont think of this, i'm not usually one to get scammed but this time he beat me.

On Friday night in the pub my mate bet me a tenner he could drink 4 pints of lager before I could drink 4 shots of Sambucca... neither of us are allowed to touch each others glasses. This was apparently done on Hustle last week. What he did was neck his first pint, by the time he's done I'm on my third shot and then he upturns his empty pint glass and puts it over the top of my fourth shot... I'm not allowed to touch his glass so regretfully hand over a tenner. Anyone know any decent bar tricks like this that I can use to try and win my money back?

Iolo is a member on this forum and a class rider from what i've seen.

I found the best way is to just go on youtube or something like that and type in biketrials or something and just try n copy whats going on, download the vids, slow them down so you can see pedal/crank movement then just make it up as you go along really. Once you've done it once your confidence will grow and you'll want to try new things. Let us know how you get on

I've just bought a '06 Levelboss 2nd hand off Iolo and i want to clean it up a bit when it arrives before i start to put all my shiny new bits on it but what colour scheme do i go with? I was thinking silver frame, yellow stickers but then i thought it might be a bit like a Czar. Any ideas? This possibly should have gone in the angry thread but I feel it's beyond anger, possibly a little bit of hate. Why oh why oh why do people wear socks and sandals together? If you're going to wear sandals you should be barefoot and if you're wearing socks you should have shoes on too. I've seen at least three cases of it today and its raining outside... surely people would look out of a window to check the weather situation and dress accordingly before leaving the house??!! The worst is when they wear the 'Jesus style' sandal with those grey school socks... AAARRRGGGGHHH!!! I cant be the only person that this effects?, am I?

Good shout, I'd much rather be shite and gradually get better than just be god like straight away. Surely everyone loves that feeling of achievement, like the first big drop you ever did... remember how good that felt... or all the times you've fallen off and bled all night but got back on and tried again and eventually done the move or line you wanted.
