I'm a sales manager for Sony UK. Been doing it about 5years. Basically I got to all the small local companies who just sell rubbish stuff like Bush, Goodmans all that, and try and convince them to part with thier money and open an account with Sony so that they can sell our products and make more money for themselves. The money is ok and the people I work with are class. I get to see and take home all the new stuff before you lot and go to the odd trade show! The last one was in Lisburn and was awesome! Currently got a US spec Blu-Ray player on loan in my lounge and the new 8gb video walkman, both of which are amazing! Hoping to be promoted up to international sales in the next year or so and start earning some proper spondooleys and get another Bullmastiff!

I ride a 24" Onza Zoot and want some better forks, I've been looking at the '07 Echo Urbans and have been offered some for a decent price It suddenly dawned on me last night that they are probably going to be too long to run my front maggy, so then I started thinking about getting a front disc, either a hope mini or a BB7. Would this solution work or would the mountings be in the wrong place as its a 24" wheel? It got to the stage last night where I was thinking way too much about stuff and ended up confusing myself. All I want to know is... Would the Urbans fit on my Zoot?Would I be able to run a front maggie?Would I damage anything by using a 26" fork?Would a disc fit properly with this setup?What decent 'Urban' style forks are around for 24"?Cheers Matt

what is gonna work best in all weather with no grind front & rear?

I've got Maxxis High Rollers atm but they're wearing a bit thin, should I go for the same again or is there somethng better around? I like how grippy they are but I'm unsure what else is available.

I started on a shitty standard '98 Kona Hahhana. As i got better I built it up to become a trialsin beast... Big mammoth rear rim, maggies, Pashley rigids, xt hubs, xt mech, chris king headset, Azonic bars, what a beauty and did the same with my Sidekick. If you've got the money then fair enough buy a brand spanking new £2k bike but personally I reckon I have learned alot more about trials by building my bike myself. Edit: before someone comes and tells me I'm a hipocrite for my Zoot being bought 'off the shelf', I had no choice, my sidekick got stolen and its all i could afford with the dosh off the insurance.

I cant seem to crack turning 180 or further on the front wheel (endo then spin). Any pointers? Cheers Matt

See if you can ride a mates or something. Thats really the only way you're gonna find out which you prefer. If you're tall you might prefer a longer frame. Hope this helps Matt Edit: Where in pompey do you usually ride?
