  1. A friend of mine @bearframesupplies added the mount for me. I'm sure any frame builder would be able/happy to do it for you. I have a pair of Hope Ti glide hubs with removable disc mounts in silver that would match your Pashley build if you ever did decide to go disc on it.
  2. Makes an already childlike looking bike look less child like Sure thing dude
  3. It use to belong to Mr Joel Bennett!
  4. One of my old RC250 frames. Bouthe died sadly. This one was red but stripped it after I had the chainstay re welded. A few of my ‘project’ bikes in the making. Got enough parts to build 2 of the up now. I’ll get some proper pictures posted when I do.
  5. finally got round to getting this frame repaired and re built. A new drive side chainstay fitted, rear disc mount and stripped the paint job off. Going to have some cable guides fitted in the near future. Lighter than my Fourplay it’s replaced and super short, very happy with it. Running 16/14 ratio and feels a little too easy so have ordered a 13t cog. 6. Best bike you have had mate , looks great . I expect you to be riding once a week at least now !
  7. Spot looks sweet ! Where is it ? As said before bike looks better on film than in the photos . More videos please .

      It's going to be good!

  9. Radial spoke pattern helps with centrifugal rolling of a wheel but has no advantage to trials wheels other than a possible weight saving . Running a crossed spoke lacing pattern you are essentially making the hub flange larger making the wheel stiffer and stronger. That's my two cents.
  10. Drop outs are alot neater than some of the old Marinos I've had. Interested to see you're tensioner , but you have horizontal drop outs , do you need one? Like the Geo too . Marino forks look awful though (in general).
  11. This . Sorry for the image that looks like it was taken with a potato , all ive got at the mo .
  12. Thanks for then comments so far , got some other bikes Im going to post up at some point . Frame has a nice geo too . Up for grabs in my for sale thread . My two faves also . The black frame is a Marino 24 mod , loved that bike but it cracked and v brake lug came away. The other was a Leeson 609 Bump.
  13. Current replacement rim for the D521 is the Mavic EX721 (same rim just up to date version) expensive but arguably the best DH rim ever made . My second choice would be the rhino lite . Having eyeleted rims that are pinned AND welded made a much stronger wheel build , unlike alot of the trials specific rims on that market . Sadly with trials being a small market, big companies like Mavic and Sun don't really venture into them . I would love them to make a 24inch ex721 ! They did make a 20'' rim that resembled a D521 yeeeears ago but are hens teeth to get hold of now.
  14. The bb fitted will be a standard Shimano un72 or the like . Clive removed the threads and circlips them in the frame . You can remove them yourself , just remove the circlips and should knock out (well dose on my leeson ) Clive I'm sure will help you but dose work on his on time so wouldn't expect anything to happen fast . Speak to Mr Purdon (I assume thats whom you bought it from?) the man knows most things 24 .
  15. There is a continental 24inch tyre coming out under the Kaiser project name (previously named rammstein ) The brand manager for continental got back from a visit to there factory in germany last week and told me was still a few months away. The tyres danny has been riding were originally a one off (he made them himself in the factory) but due to interest they are putting it into production.
  16. Inspired fourplay Mk2 . Trial zone brakes Pro 2 hubs Middleburn cranks TT High rise bars Hope stem & Headset Shimano MX30 pedals Hope hub dust caps I dont really like posting pictures of the bike unfinished but just want to to see what people thought so far . Boring black white and silver theme , but will get the frame painted another time . Just need to build up the matching front wheel and looking into new tyres , recommendations welcome . Thanks for looking .
  17. Kenny 'Hans Rey' Belaey ? GT, ADIDAS , riding trials on a full sus ........
  18. I'd be smiling too if I landed a whip out of that bank. Some cool looking spots, where was most of the riding shot ? Also what bike was the third rider with the blue helmet riding ?
  19. Check out some of Levis commuter range they do , ive got a pair of the jeans and have to say im very happy with them http://eu.levi.com/en_GB/commuter Also Rapha , its very expensive but may give you an idea of what is already on the market of causal technical ware http://www.rapha.cc/ Hope these help . I ride a 7 mile commute each day , from my home town to central Milton Keynes , mainly through estates and red ways to avoid as much road as possible since my run in with a car . I ride a Genesis Day one disc with a flat bar .
  20. Exactly , which makes me wonder why compression outer brake cable is even made ?? Linear cables make much more sense .
  21. Then why do gears have barrel adjusters ? I under stand wear rate and the compression of cables needing adjustment , but I still think they do.
  22. What do you think barrel adjusters are for?
  23. I've always been a fan of the chameleon and have had 2007 (my personal favorite and best looking in my opinion) and a 2009 frames . I like it but, agree with monkeyseemonkeydo in that its quite generic looking now much like an XTC or similar . Maybe they are taking a new direction with the bike away from the rugged do it all hard tail, to a more XC market? With the new style drop outs I'm assuming you will be able to swap them for horizontal dropouts much like the systems DMR and Kona have run for years . Either way much better than a EBB.
  24. Yeah basically a new revised version of the 77. was the first drop bar lever hydraulic brake . Indeed they were shit, over sized and under powered, never got the point of them , maybe price point . They ran a different size master cylinder piston to the 33's and required to use a hs22/24 specific slave to accommodate the different push of fluid (if my memory serves me correctly ).
